Solana Keeps Producing Blocks as 85% of Staked Validators Continue Voting During Outage

Solana maintained block production and transaction processing overnight even as an infrastructure provider serving some of its validators went down, Solana Foundation technology executive Jacob Creech said.

Voting continued among 597 of the network’s 699 staked validators, representing about 85% of the total. 

Creech said service was restored for the affected validators in less than 40 minutes. Participants in the Solana Foundation Delegation Program did not experience the disruption.
