SpaceX Reports $1.10B in Digital Assets as Q2 Revenue Jumps 92%

SpaceX reported second-quarter 2026 revenue of $7.81 billion, a 92% increase from a year earlier, while its net loss narrowed to $541 million from $1.01 billion in the same period last year.

Adjusted EBITDA climbed 191% year over year to $3.54 billion. Revenue from the company’s connectivity business reached $4.29 billion as Starlink’s subscriber base doubled to 12 million during the period.

The company’s AI business generated $2.56 billion in revenue, up 247% from a year earlier, but recorded an operating loss of $1.26 billion. Total capital expenditure for the quarter was $18.37 billion, including $15.83 billion allocated to the AI segment.

SpaceX reported digital assets with a carrying value of $1.10 billion at the end of the quarter, down about 33% from $1.64 billion at the end of 2025. The company had previously disclosed in its IPO filing that it held 18,712 Bitcoin.

As of quarter-end, SpaceX held approximately $100 billion in cash, cash equivalents, and marketable securities. Its contract backlog totaled $47.5 billion.
