The cryptocurrency sector recorded three major security breaches on Wednesday, with combined losses surpassing $35.5 million, according to blockchain analytics platform Lookonchain.
The largest incident involved AFX Trade, which lost approximately $24.15 million, making it the most significant exploit reported that day.

Meanwhile, the Verus Ethereum Bridge was exploited for roughly $7.55 million, highlighting continued security risks facing cross-chain infrastructure.

A separate attack targeted B² Network, resulting in estimated losses of $3.86 million.
The three incidents together accounted for more than $35.5 million in reported losses, underscoring another challenging day for the digital asset industry as protocol exploits continue to expose vulnerabilities across DeFi and blockchain ecosystems.
