Vitalik Buterin Credits Bitcoin’s Utreexo Work as Ethereum Explores Similar Scaling Ideas

Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said the network’s current scaling proposals are exploring concepts similar to technologies developed by the Bitcoin community, including Utreexo.

In particular, Buterin said Ethereum aims to support a range of state models, from UTXO-like structures to dynamic models, allowing most network activity to scale substantially while preserving decentralization, censorship resistance, and the ability to run nodes with relative ease.

Moreover, Buterin credited the Bitcoin community for its work on technologies such as Utreexo.
