Since Ethereum EIP-1559 proposal was implemented, 100,000 Ethereum tokens have been burned.


The second-largest blockchain took just 21 days to achieve the milestone of burning 100K Ethereums. ETH blockchain is destroying thousands of dollars every minute in shape of transaction fees.

 

EIP-1559 was the most prominent improvement proposal that came along with the eagerly awaited London hark which activated on Aug. 5. Analysts estimate that around two million coins will be taken out of ETH circulation supply this year.
