Created by three Colombians and one Chilean, FLAPZ is Latin America’s fastest-growing private aviation marketplace connecting passengers with dozens of regional certified operators.
The service has served more than 50,000 users since its launch, with flight renting payments being made online. The company is now moving forward to accept cryptocurrencies as a means of payment.
Flapz will accept Bitcoin as a means of payment throughout Latin America. According to information, Flapz will start accepting Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies after signing a partnership with the payment company QuickiPay.
Users will be able to ask for private jets and helicopters with Flapz, paying in Bitcoin for it. The initiative promises to help people easily pay for the service and get quick access to Flapz products. With Flapz users can search for travel options in near real-time, compare different flights, and do the booking online.
The Flapz CEO said that the crypto future in Latin America is promising, with many unicorns putting crypto in the spotlight and making cryptocurrencies another means of payment.
