Almost every tenth citizen of the United States is ready to give cryptocurrencies as a gift for the New Year, and every fourth is ready to buy them in 2022.

The survey involved 1300 US residents aged 18 to 65. Among respondents aged 9-25 (generation Z), the percentage of digital assets popularity was twice as high as other age groups. The respondents gave preference to Bitcoin, Dogecoin, and Ethereum. Only 2% expressed interest in giving NFTs as Christmas gifts, 15% plan to purchase BTC, ETH, and Doge in 2022.

Recall, according to a report by Grayscale Investments, 26% of US investors have already invested in bitcoin, while more than half have become BTC owners over the past year. According to a Pew Research Center survey, since 2015, the number of American adults familiar with the first cryptocurrency has increased from 48% to 86%.
