Sport Club Internacional become yet another football club to enter the crypto market.
Sport Club Internacional, commonly known as Internacional, Inter de Porto Alegre or simply Inter, is a Brazilian professional football club based in Porto Alegre.
In recent months, the entry of football clubs around the world into the crypto market has exploded, because of so-called fan tokens. These tokens make it possible for clubs to come closer to fans. The fans can shop the club’s store items with fan tokens, it also allows fans to send them as payments to one another, holders can also participate in voting on small, or everyday club decisions.
In Brazil Atlético Mineiro, Corinthians, Flamengo, and São Paulo have already launched fan tokens in partnership with the Socios platform. Santos, another major club in the State of São Paulo, launched its fan token in cooperation with Binance.

One of the biggest clubs in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Internacional has launched a new feature for its fans in the shape of a fan token.
Sports Club Internacional, in partnership with Socios.com, the leading fan token provider of the sports and entertainment industry, has announced that it will launch its SACI Fan Token.

According to a statement, SACI Fan Token holders will be able to have their say in a number of decisions, such as kit designs, squad numbers for new hirings, celebration songs, inspirational messages, and other topics related to fans, by voting in different polls on social media channels.
SACI holders will also enjoy exclusive discounts and promotions as well as the chance to earn unique rewards, from signed merch and VIP tickets to NFTs (Non-Fungible Tokens), which will allow fans to hold and collect the most memorable moments in history.
