Donald Trump, former US president, is well known for strongly criticizing cryptocurrencies while defending the Dollar, But his wife is the opposite.
President Donald Trump voiced against Crypto so many times. In October 2021, Trump expressed concerns about China’s Digital Yuan and Bitcoin (BTC). He believes that cryptocurrencies can undermine the independence of the Dollar and bring the country’s financial system to stagnation.
Trump’s opinion remains the same about Crypto. Recently In an interview with Fox, Business Trump said crypto fall could be significant, much bigger than the tech company bubble, probably referring to the Internet Bubble, which occurred in the 2000s.
“I never loved Crypto because I like to have the Dollar, I like the only currency to be the Dollar, So I am never a big fan of Crypto, and nobody is doing anything to stop Crypto. Look, I want a coin called Dollar, I don’t want to have all these other currencies, and there could be an explosion someday, which we’ve never seen. It’ll make the big tech explosion look like baby stuff. I think Crypto is a very dangerous thing.”
On the other hand, his wife is venturing into NFTs. She launched “Melania’s Vision” NFT in collaboration with Marc-Antoine Coulon. According to Melania Trump, her work combines her two passions, art and the will to help other people.
Recently she wished happy 13th anniversary to Bitcoin;
“It is widely reported that Bitcoin’s market cap exceeds $1 Trillion. Today marks the 13th anniversary of the Bitcoin Genesis Block. Happy Anniversary.”
