The Shiba Inu (SHIB) Community wants to help and donate their SHIB tokens to Ukraine as the conflict in Ukraine escalates and many innocent lives are being impacted across the region.

MILKSHAKE, an official member of the Shiba Inu portal, tagged a Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine in a tweet and said that the SHIB Community wants to help Ukraine in these difficult times. So if he’s interested in accepting crypto donations with SHIB, the Shib community is ready to help and collaborate with Ukraine under challenging times.

The tweet is written in the Ukrainian language (translated).

“@FedorovMykhailo Current events in Ukraine have touched many hearts of the $SHIB community. Sincerely, I am addressing you directly because many people want to help and donate when you start accepting crypto-donations.”

Gossip Shib said she is not neutral and stands with Ukraine:

Shib Knight says the Shibarmy stand with Ukraine.

David asks Ukraine to accept Shib.

Shib princess says Shib is an amazing way to help Ukraine:

The proposals started to come after the Vice President of Ukraine tweeted the Dogecoin (DOGE) wallet address, saying that Dogecoin is more valuable than the Russian ruble that’s why Ukraine decided to accept donations in Doge to support the Ukrainian army and save lives.

The Ukrainian government is now accepting donations in the form of crypto. The cryptocurrencies that can be used for donation purposes include Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Tether (USDT), and Polkadot (DOT).

Maybe Shiba Inu (SHIB) token will be the next following this proposal. However, no response from the vice Prime Minister of Ukraine has been received yet.

Readers should note that Shiba Inu (SHIB) token had already created history when it was first donated to Indian Covid Relief Fund by Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum.

At the time of creation, the Shib team gifted 50% of the SHIB supply to Vitalik Buterin. Later, he had burnt 90% of SHIB supply by sending the tokens to the dead wallet and donated the rest of 50 trillion SHIB tokens (worth around $1.2 billion at that time) to an India COVID-19 relief fund set up by Polygon founder Sandeep Nailwal.
