What to Expect
Part of the features the Muesliswap team plans on adding in the coming weeks include market orders, a quick swap interface, and size-optimized smart contracts.
MuesliSwap added that while it plans on rolling out significant features on the v2 testnet, it will only launch graphs and analytics, including order history, when the decentralized exchange is fully deployed on the mainnet.
Features of MuesliSwap
Using the DEX is similar to other decentralized exchanges, as users will be allowed to swap different tokens available on the platform, earn and invest on Cardano’s leading decentralized finance ecosystem.
The exchange has native cryptocurrency dubbed MILK, which it describes as a utility token. With the MILK token, holders are given access to exclusive exchange features, vote on different community proposals, and stake the token to earn rewards.
MuesliSwap Performance Since V1 Launch
Following the support of smart contract functionality on Cardano, MuesliSwap became the first decentralized exchange to go live on the blockchain’s mainnet on November 27, 2021.
While the first version of the decentralized exchange did not meet users’ expectations, MuesliSwap noted at the time that it would be releasing a version 2 of the trading platform.
Out of the seven decentralized exchanges launched on the Cardano mainnet, MuesliSwap is ranked in the third position in terms of total value locked (TVL), with a paltry volume of $1.98 million locked on the platform.
