More Ethereum tokens to be added in the near future.

The world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has announced that it has added the first batch of digital currencies to its Bridge 2.0 solution.

Binance noted today that a total of nine cryptocurrencies had been added so far, with plans being made to integrate more ERC-20 tokens into the platform.

The selected cryptocurrencies include ApeCoin (APE), The Sandbox (SAND), JasmyCoin (JASMY), Decentraland (MANA), MovieBloc (MOVIE), VeChain (VET), LooksRare (LOOK), Dogelon Mars (ELON), and ConstitutionDAO (PEOPLE).

Following the development, users will be able to bridge the listed tokens from the Ethereum blockchain to the Binance Smart Chain (BSC).

Binance users can deposit the selected cryptocurrencies to their existing network’s address on the exchange and withdraw the corresponding BEP-20 tokens or use it to explore BSC-based decentralized applications (dApps).

According to the popular cryptocurrency trading platform, the fact that some assets have been added to the list of supported digital currencies on the Binance bridge does not guarantee that the token will be listed on the world’s largest exchange in the future.

Recall that Binance introduced the Bridge 2.0 solution towards the end of last month, allowing users to use their Ethereum wrapped tokens with the Binance smart chain, and explore BSC-based decentralized finance (DeFi), metaverse, and blockchain games.

Binance plans to integrate support for almost all ERC-20 tokens in the near future, thus granting these holders access to BSC-based decentralized applications, the exchange said.
