Shibarium Getting Ready for Beta Testnet.

Rumors about the Shibarium launch revived all across social media platforms, especially Twitter, as Shiba Inu Community is expecting some information about the potential Shibarium Layer-2 launch from the upcoming XFUND Mainnet upgrade.

Unification $XFUND Mainnet upgrade is set to go live on June 8, and the Community speculates good news for the Shibarium launch. Please remember that ‘Unification’ is the primary developer of Shibarium. In April, ‘Unification’ confirmed that Shibarium Public Testnet would Launch This Year.
Shibarium, the layer 2 solution proposed by Shiba Inu’s pseudonymous creator Ryoshi, is supposed to be the backbone of all the SHIB projects in development – especially SHI and ShibFE (Shibarium Financial Ecosystem), according to Shytoshi Kusama.
Shibarium has perhaps garnered the most attention from the Shiba community. It aims to reduce the transaction fees for its users. It will offer a scaling and low-cost solution for many projects in the Shiba Inu ecosystem, including SHIB: The Metaverse and the Shiba Inu Games.
As the rumors began taking rounds, several community members started asking the Shiba Inu team for an official update about the potential Shibarium Layer 2 launch and its connection with the upcoming XFUND Mainnet upgrade.
During the time, Gossip SHIB, the former SHIB Growth Breed member, replied to one of the tweets from the community members that June 8th and 9th can be a Shibarium update on the XFUND mainnet, which might signal that shib developers may begin Shibarium beta testing. But, this doesn’t mean PUBLIC testing at all.
However, she also called her tweet a “rumor” as it doesn’t come from the official Shiba Inu Twitter page.

Formerly on May 11, Shytoshi Kusama published the official blog article with the title, “Shibshire Blastaway.” He confirmed that Shibarium is near to launch and may come into life in the coming few weeks or months. However, he refused to give the exact launch date in that blog post. Instead, the lead developer of the SHIB ecosystem told the community to be mentally prepared as the team is ready for a safe and final launch of a decentralized world very soon.
