Shiba Inu plans to boost its presence in Vietnam.
Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of meme-based cryptocurrency, Shiba Inu, has disclosed that he is planning to boost the mainstream adoption of SHIB in Vietnam.
Kusama noted that he has a special treat for members of the SHIBArmy, who are residents in Vietnam.
In a tweet today, the lead developer of Shiba Inu first checked whether there are SHIB enthusiasts in Vietnam by asking them to indicate with a “hello” in the comment section.
“Where is Vietnam #ShibArmy ? Say hello in the comments,” Kusama tweeted.
Surprised by the response from Vietnam-based Shiba Inu enthusiasts, he had to reveal the reason why he sought to know whether SHIB has a good presence in Vietnam.
“Great! I have a special treat for Vietnam soon. I’ll keep you all posted. Just making sure we are present in that region,” he added.

Kusama to Expand SHIB’s Growth
It is noteworthy that the move is part of efforts to bolster the mainstream adoption of Shiba Inu in Vietnam. If the planned “special treat” yields positive results, it is expected that Kusama will also launch the initiative in other countries.
Shiba Inu is one of the fastest-growing cryptocurrencies in the market. The meme coin, which launched in August 2020, has been widely adopted across various parts of the world.
According to data on cryptocurrency aggregator platform Etherscan, there are now more than 1.2 million unique holders of Shiba Inu. At press time, Shiba Inu has a total of 1,209,585 unique holders.
Interestingly, more people will be adopting the cryptocurrency soon, especially when Kusama rolls out the so-called “special treat” for Vietnamese.
Shiba Inu Launching Significant Projects
It is not surprising to see Shiba Inu attract lots of investors less than two years after launching; the team behind the cryptocurrency has been rolling out useful projects for the coin.
Shiba Inu currently has an official burn portal, metaverse project, decentralized exchange, etc. The Shiba Inu team is also planning to launch a Layer-2 blockchain dubbed Shibarium.
