Elon Musk has ignored calls by MicroStrategy’s Michael Saylor to acquire “some more Bitcoin.”

Elon Musk has been on a Twitter burst of late, eliciting mixed reactions to his controversial utterances. After announcing intentions to buy Twitter and stirring trouble about it, Elon joked about buying the UK-based football team, Manchester United.

The tweet caught the attention of Michael Saylor, the CEO of the crypto investment firm MicroStrategy. In response, Michael advised Elon to buy more BTC instead. That was on August 17.

“We would prefer that you buy some more Bitcoin.”

Elon Musk Response

However, Elon Musk responded by not replying to Michael’s suggestion. He ignored Saylor’s tip altogether. Still, the crypto community is on its toes, waiting to see what happens next. Elon Musk is known to cause market movement whenever he tweets in support of a particular crypto. He did it with Dogecoin many times. His joke about Manchester United increased the club’s stock by 16% in hours.

Why Tesla Sold Off Its BTC Stash

This is not the first time that Michael Saylor has tried to keep Elon Musk and his Tesla company in the BTC sphere. Back in July, when Tesla sold off 75% of its BTC stash, Michael wasn’t happy. He said: If you sell 75% of your bitcoin, you will only have 25% of your bitcoin left.
