Bitpay Users Can Now Buy Shiba Inu Using Moonpay

The feature was introduced through a recent partnership between BitPay and MoonPay.

BitPay, a leading U.S.-based Bitcoin and cryptocurrency payment service, has integrated a feature that will allow customers to buy Shiba Inu (SHIB) and other cryptocurrencies using MoonPay checkout. The introduction of the feature was made possible through a recent partnership between BitPay and MoonPay.

The collaboration was announced in an official press release from BitPay on Thursday, and it is part of BitPay’s dedicated efforts at providing its customers with a variety of options when purchasing digital assets. The crypto payment services provider had integrated several other payment options in the past to cater to its customer’s specific needs.

Last October, it introduced an option to buy SHIB using prepaid cards. In June 2022, the platform also announced a feature that will allow users to purchase Apple products with SHIB and other assets. BitPay’s continued integration efforts present several benefits for SHIB investors, including an option to choose from multiple purchase rates – giving them an opportunity to purchase their assets at the best possible price on the market.

Users also get their crypto assets sent directly to their desired wallet. Moreover, BitPay provides customers with an opportunity to buy their cryptocurrencies using any of the available payment methods which include SEPA and SWIFT transfers, debit cards, credit cards, Google Pay, and Apple Pay.

Speaking on the recent partnership, Bill Zielke, Chief Marketing Officer at BitPay, said, “BitPay’s partnership with MoonPay brings together two leaders of the crypto payments space to give BitPay users near-instant access to cryptocurrency.” 

How to Purchase SHIB Through MoonPay

The MoonPay feature has already been integrated as of press time, and interested users can access the option by using BitPay’s web or mobile application. Moreover, to celebrate the collaboration, BitPay has introduced a campaign that will allow first-time buyers to pay zero fees for their purchases for a limited time.

To make a purchase, 

• Open the BitPay app on your mobile phone or head to the official BitPay website.
• Click or tap on the “Buy Crypto” option, then select Shiba Inu as your preferred asset. 
• Afterward, enter the dollar equivalent of the amount of SHIB you wish to purchase, and confirm the quote.
• Then select your preferred Payment Method. Several offers will be displayed, including ones from MoonPay. Select a suitable payment method and proceed.
