In a recent tweet, a Shiba Inu influencer, dubbed “Nasty Shib,” shared a screenshot of Kusama’s expectations on the potential utility of Shibarium. The Shiba Inu lead developer said cryptocurrency projects such as Falcon 9 (F9) and Metabet (MBET) would be utilizing the upcoming L2 blockchain.

It is worth noting that Falcon 9 is an Ethereum-based community crypto project. The F9 token is tradeable on Uniswap (V2) and Shiba Inu’s decentralized exchange ShibaSwap. On the other hand, METABET is a play-to-earn/Gamefi casino ecosystem that trades only on Shiba Inu’s decentralized exchange.

“I’m so excited to see projects like F9, Ufo, MBet, VXL, and other tokens utilize Shibarium and our other platforms. That’s the point, right?!” Kusama noted this in the screenshot.

Shibarium Gets Enormous Hype Ahead of Launch

Kusama’s comments mark the latest hype of the upcoming L2 blockchain. It has become a routine seeing Shiba Inu team members reveal their expectations for Shibarium.

Recall that earlier this month, Kusama likened Shibarium to a “pine tree,” which requires sunlight, water, and good soil to grow. The lead developer further said Shibarium would survive and thrive even during the harshest of winters.

The team is building Shibarium to serve diverse cryptocurrency sectors, including gaming and the metaverse. Shibarium is tipped to usher in fast, low-cost, and secure transactions.

The team also revealed that the upcoming network will help to incinerate SHIB tokens via each transaction within the protocol. The mouthwatering features of Shibarium have made Shiba Inu community members eager for the L2 network’s launch. Despite pressure from SHIB enthusiasts, the team has refused to give a specific date for the rollout of the beta version of Shibarium.
