Shiba Inu: Shibarium Intake Form Has Seen Over 7,000 Applications

The rapid surge in applications further underscores the tremendous interest Shibarium is witnessing from the crypto community.

Shibarium, the Shiba Inu layer-2 network, is experiencing a notable increase in the number of applications processed through its intake system. Within just one month of its public release, over 7,000 applications have been submitted, highlighting the immense interest that Shibarium has garnered from the crypto community.

Shytoshi Kusama, the community-appointed Shiba Inu project lead, recently highlighted this large influx of applications. Kusama noted this while addressing inquiries regarding the progress of a specific application made by a pseudonymous community member BlackJackPrivate.

The individual took to the official Shibarium Telegram channel to call attention to an irregularity noticed during their application process to ascertain whether it was necessary to file another application. In response, Kusama disclosed that, although the application has gone through, it hasn’t been approved.

The Shiba Inu lead clarified that the email from the Shibarium team is auto-generated to acknowledge the reception of the application but does not necessarily translate to approval. Notwithstanding, he revealed that the team is making conscious efforts to reply to everyone, but the work has been daunting due to over 7,000 applications received.

Furthermore, Kusama added that he has had to review the reply emails regularly to include newer developments, such as the recent partnership between Shiba Inu’s Metaverse project and the International Women in Blockchain conference, which aims to bolster female participation in the blockchain industry.

Conclusively, Kusama noted that the individual’s application has already been acknowledged, implying that another application is unnecessary. He further noted that, despite the cluster of applications, more people are invited to indicate their interest in working for Shibarium through the intake form.

The Shibarium Intake Form

Last month, the Shibarium intake form was unveiled in one of the blog installments dedicated to the layer-2 project. The intake form is the avenue through which individuals can signify their interest in joining Shibarium. The form saw over 3,000 applications as of March 6, which keeps increasing.

Through the official intake system on the Shibarium website, the team has designated several avenues through which any interested party can join the Shibarium project, including content creation, business integration, and becoming a validator.
