Tezos Launches Mumbai Upgrade
On March 29, Tezos activated its 13th core protocol upgrade, dubbed Mumbai. The launch of Mumbai introduced the Smart Rollups to the leading blockchain to enhance the network’s transaction speed. According to an announcement, the upgrade will allow the Tezos network to process over one million transactions per second. In addition, Tezos’ Mumbai upgrade also reduced the network’s block time from 30 seconds to 15 seconds.
