TerraCVita disclosed that the Certik audit is now underway and the team plans to relaunch Terraport to help rebuild the Terra Classic chain.
TerraCVita recently revealed that they have commissioned an audit of the Terraport codebase from Certik, a reputable blockchain security firm. The development group also announced its intention to relaunch Terraport and further contribute to the revitalization of the Terra Classic network.
According to the recent disclosure, the group noted that they are looking forward to whatever findings Certik makes. However, some proponents have voiced their disapproval, claiming that the security audit is too little, too late.
Great to see the Terraport audit underway by Certik and we look forward to their findings.
As we have always said auditors jobs are to find ways to improve what they audit.@_Terraport_ is planning to return, and help rebuild #LUNC.

The latest announcement comes after repeated calls for a security audit to be conducted on the DeFi platform before its launch. Notably, after the Terraport hack, reXx, a member of the Terra Classic community, revealed that he had raised the alarm about multiple security vulnerabilities on the platform. However, TerraCVita did not heed these warnings.
Investors of @_Terraport_ please read this article as it explains multiple major security breach on its platform.

Moreover, Tobias “Zaradar” Andersen, a developer and former member of the Terra Classic L1 Task Force, disclosed that an offer to perform a code review on the platform was made before its launch, but TerraCVita did not take up this offer. Zaradar recently provided a screenshot of a conversation as proof of these claims, as the TerraCVita group denied ever receiving such an offer.

Despite the recent disclosure of a Certik audit, some members of the Terra Classic community remain skeptical, given the fact that the project’s audit is currently not found on the page showing audits in progress. However, a few others have expressed renewed support for the project.
Claims of Additional 30M TERRA Tokens Surface
reXx, who first championed fund recovery narratives immediately after the hack occurred, has continuously made several findings in connection with the Terraport project. Lately, reXx mentioned that on-chain data suggests that Terraport distributed extra 30 million TERRA tokens that were not accounted for on the whitepaper.
There was an additional 30M $TERRA tokens that was distributed, but not accounted for on paper. This was only discovered through blockchain data. So is anyone here going to start asking terraport/terracvita the right questions? Or am I going to keep airing out dirty laundry?

Notably, the whitepaper and other official documents state that only 40 million TERRA tokens will be distributed in the private sale event. However, according to reXx and Asobs, a notable crypto YouTuber, blockchain data shows that this figure stood at an estimate of 70 million TERRA. Asobs also called attention to a strange wallet which received up to 20 million TERRA through eight sub-wallets.
