Shiba Inu metaverse team says it will soon unveil the secrets of Rocket Pond.
The team behind Shiba Inu’s metaverse project, Shib: The Metaverse, said it would soon uncover the secrets of Rocket Pond. The Metaverse team tweeted today that it has only a few days left to showcase the Alpha Preview of the Rocket Pond Hub.
The official Shiba Inu Twitter account also retweeted the announcement.

The Rocket Pond Hub
It is worth noting that Rocket Pond is one of the 11 hubs of Shiba Inu’s metaverse project. As reported by The Crypto Basic, the SHIB team first shared a black-and-white sketch of the Rocket Pond hub on September 13, 2022.
Three days later, it released an additional colored concept of the hub, giving users a feel of what it will look like when the metaverse eventually launches.
Shiba Inu says the Rocket Pond gives “the feel of a hidden resort inside of mountains.” It also noted that the environment of the hub is saturated with clear waters and wildlife mixed with resort buildings that lead up to the mountain.
The architectural inspiration for the hub was drawn from different U.S.-based resorts, including Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park, Lake Tahoe, etc.
Explaining the rationale behind the name “Rocket Pond,” the team noted that “Rockets” in the crypto space signifies that the value of an asset is full of energy and ready to “fly to new horizons.”
Meanwhile, the team did not reveal the exact date it intends to “uncover the secrets of Rocket Pond.” There is a tendency that the new reveal will take place after the team wraps up the giveaway contest.
Shib: The Metaverse Giveaway Contest to End Soon
In the meantime, the metaverse team reminded the community that the contest it launched earlier this month would soon end. Recall that Shib: The Metaverse announced a contest to give away ten plots of land to celebrate the launch of its official Twitter handle on April 11.
Shiba Inu community members were urged to participate in the contest by following the new Twitter account and retweeting the “giveaway” announcement. Per the announcement, the contest will end on April 30, 2023.
In other news, Shib: The Metaverse urged its Twitter followers to ask any question about the Metaverse project in the comment section. The team promised to answer all Shib: The Metaverse-related questions in its next blog post.
