Shiba Inu’s marketing team member shares exciting details about the cryptocurrency’s metaverse project.
Lucie Sasnikova, a Shiba Inu marketing team member, has shared an exciting update about the cryptocurrency’s metaverse project.
In a tweet today, Lucie noted that by September, the team behind Shib: The Metaverse expects the previews of four hubs to be revealed by September. The hubs include WAGMI Temple, Rocket Pond, Ryo Plaza, and Tech Trench.
Lucie said the development was initially shared by Marcie Jastrow, an advisor of the metaverse, on different spaces. Enthusiasts of the metaverse project raised a few questions, including which hubs will be revealed this year and how the team plans to release the metaverse.
“We had the lovely @marciejastrow lead from Shib: the Metaverse in spaces yesterday who answered a few questions,” Lucie said.
Additionally, Jastrow disclosed that Shiba Inu’s metaverse will be released on PC, mobile, and virtual reality (VR).

Build-up to Shiba Inu’s Metaverse Launch
It is noteworthy that Shib: The Metaverse is one of the projects that expands Shiba Inu’s utility beyond the meme coin title. The team behind the project has continued to make significant efforts toward its official launch.
Some of the progress includes revealing the concept artworks of all 11 hubs of the metaverse, launching a new Twitter account, adding top entertainment professionals to the metaverse team, etc.
Following the progress made so far, the team is confident that the metaverse will partially open before the end of the year.
“While all development takes time, the MV team is confident that by the end of 2023 users will have the opportunity to explore some of the areas in this fantastic world, build, design, play, and develop within it,” Shib: The Metaverse said.
The team noted that not all areas of the project will be ready at the time of its launch. However, it plans to make several optimized tools and hubs available for users.
Although the team did not reveal the names of the hubs that will be available by year-end, it is expected that the four hubs highlighted by Lucie will be included in the partial opening by year-end.
Meanwhile, Shiba Inu’s lead developer released the WAGMI Temple alpha preview in March following the unveiling of a new website for Shib: The Metaverse. The metaverse team is also planning to release the first video preview of the Rocket Pond hub.
