Cardano Marlowe completes internal and external audits, set to deploy on mainnet, and invites early adopters for feedback.

In an exciting development for the Cardano developer community, Input Output HK (IOHK), the non-profit organization behind the Cardano blockchain, has successfully completed internal and external audits for Marlowe, a user-friendly toolset for smart contract development, integration, and deployment.

Recall that Marlowe was one of the over sixty DeFi projects The Cryto Basic reported were preparing to go live on the Cardano network last year.

The project, designed to simplify the process of building and deploying smart contracts on Cardano, has been audited by internal teams and the renowned blockchain development firm Tweag.io.

The audits aimed to thoroughly evaluate Marlowe’s codebase, security measures, and overall functionality to ensure a robust and reliable platform for developers.

The Cardano development team noted that, unlike traditional smart contract creation toolsets, Marlowe does not require specialized programming skills. Its intuitive interface empowers developers of all levels to rapidly prototype and bring smart contracts to market.

The completion of internal and external audits marks a significant achievement for Marlowe and reinforces Cardano’s commitment to maintaining a secure and reliable ecosystem.

Cardano Marlowe Invites Early Adopters for Feedback

While the audit report is yet to be published, the Marlowe team posted on its official Twitter page that the audited application is now available for early adopters to test and provide feedback.

Specifically, the Marlowe team invites developers to collaborate for feedback on usability, documentation, user experience, and more.

Notably, according to the official report, Marlowe leverages the power of Plutus and offers strong assurances through formal proofs, testing, and analysis tools, providing a secure environment for contract usage.
