LUNC ex-developer Zaradar mocks LUNC’s price logic compared to Bitcoin, leading to discussions on trust, leadership, and the project’s challenges.

Former Terra Classic (LUNC) core developer Zaradar, also known as Tobias Andersen, has ignited a fuss within the LUNC community by mocking the price logic of the cryptocurrency in relation to Bitcoin (BTC).

In a recent tweet, Zaradar highlighted the perceived discrepancy between Bitcoin’s price movement and that of LUNC, sarcastically referring to it as “Lunatic logic.”

Zaradar pointed out that when Bitcoin experiences a 2% drop, LUNC tends to plummet by 10% or more, yet when Bitcoin surges by 25%, LUNC fails to reflect any significant gains. He accompanied his tweet with a mocking GIF featuring a panda, further intensifying the humorous tone.

For context, Bitcoin is up by over 15% on its cumulative seven-day performance, while LUNC is down by 0.84%.

Crypto Community Reacts

The tweet sparked various reactions from the crypto community, with one user acknowledging that LUNC often fails to gain momentum even after updates and remains on par with other coins in the cosmos.

Recall that the L1 Team recently completed a significant Terra Classic network upgrade which finally introduced parity with Luna 2.0 and Cosmos, as The Crypto Basic reported.

Additionally, the crypto enthusiast identified trust as a crucial element that LUNC lost in the aftermath of its massive crash last year, contributing to the current state of affairs.

In response, Zaradar expressed his belief that trust is challenging in an environment filled with bullies, likening the situation to a schoolyard battle royal. He speculated that centralized exchanges (CEXs) might eventually grow weary of the ongoing turmoil surrounding LUNC and leave the task of revitalizing the project to decentralized exchanges (DEXs).

Another user chimed in, suggesting that the price discrepancy demonstrated a fundamental problem within LUNC. Zaradar concurred, suggesting that claims of network effects, user base, and distribution may have been exaggerated.

However, a commenter humorously called for an unbiased CEO-leader to guide LUNC and lamented the lack of democratic decision-making in digital oligarchies.

Ultimately, Zaradar’s mocking tweet and subsequent exchange have highlighted the ongoing challenges and differing perspectives within the LUNC community. Notably, Zaradar left the Terra Classic community in April, as The Crypto Basic disclosed, after controversy around a funding proposal.
