Shiba Inu Shibarium to launch in August at the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference, showcasing governance and innovation for a sustainable community.
Shytoshi Kusama, the lead developer of Shiba Inu, has officially confirmed that the highly anticipated Shibarium will launch during the upcoming Blockchain Futurist Conference in Toronto, scheduled for August.
The pseudonymous Shiba Inu developer confirmed this date in an official blog on Thursday, July 6, 2023. Notably, as The Crypto Basic reported, this date corresponds with a recent prediction by a prominent personality in the Shiba Inu community.

Interestingly, Shiba Inu is the title sponsor of the upcoming conference in Toronto. According to Kusama, this sponsorship aligns Shiba Inu with top exchanges and projects, strengthening its position as a major player in cryptocurrency.
The conference is particularly significant as it coincides with Shiba Inu’s third anniversary, specifically, Shibapendence Day. And, of course, Shibarium will be a focal point of the conference.
Attendees can expect a multi-month hackathon to explore the functionalities of Shibarium, along with two dedicated booths, a VIP cabana, and various Shib-themed products, platforms, and services.
Notably, Kusama will attend the event virtually to deliver a virtual keynote speech and share insights into the vision and objectives of Shibarium.
Unveiling Shiba Inu Worldpaper, Treat, Doggy DAO
Furthermore, the Shiba Inu team will unveil the completed World paper during the Blockchain Futurist Conference. The event will also announce collaborations with partners such as Unification and BadIdea.Ai.
Among other key announcements to be made during the conference will be the introduction of the Shib Doggy DAO Foundation.
Shytoshi Kusama emphasized the importance of governance in building a permanent autonomous international organization. He explained that the Shib community’s governance system would be divided into four separate DAOs, each responsible for governing specific aspects of the Shiba Inu ecosystem.
These DAOs will ensure equal representation and decision-making power for all members, contributing to the long-term sustainability and persistence of the community.
