Deaton issued the warning after an XRP community member informed him that some enthusiasts plan to write letters to the judge.

XRP Holders Impatient With Judge Torres’ Delay

It is worth noting that XRP community members have been impatient with the judge’s delay in issuing a summary judgment. Recall that both the SEC and Ripple completed their summary judgment briefings in December 2022.

After six months, Judge Torres has still not issued her decision to put an end to the multi-year legal battle. As the judge delays the ruling, XRP enthusiasts have continued to express frustration across social media platforms.

The delay has negatively impacted the price of XRP, thus causing frustration among enthusiasts. Over the weekend, an XRP enthusiast highlighted how the legal battle has negatively affected people’s lives both emotionally and physically.

In a fit of impatience, some XRP enthusiasts are considering taking more stringent measures to get things rolling in the lawsuit. Some XRP enthusiasts proposed writing letters to the presiding judge of the SEC v. Ripple lawsuit to expedite the ruling.

A community member went as far as sharing Judge Torres’ contact details in the comment section. The tweet contains Judge Torres’ chambers phone number and email address.

Meanwhile, several XRP holders do not support the move, as they think contacting the judge will not bode well for Ripple.
