Shiba Inu (SHIB) community lead, Shytoshi Kusama, known for his penchant for teasers, has again dropped a cryptic clue about ecosystem developments. The latest teaser has elicited heightened speculations on the upcoming Shibarium launch.
Yesterday, Kusama took to X (fka Twitter) to share a simple GIF of a ‘greater than’ mathematical sign. Accompanying the GIF was a more intriguing message: “An equation for my math buffs. I won’t ELONgate it: Shib > X.”

Given its cryptic undertone, the post has garnered the attention of the Shiba Inu community. Notably, some proponents believe the hashtags “shibarium” and “verysoon” suggest a correlation with the upcoming Shibarium launch.
The message also alludes to Elon Musk, owner of X. Responding to this, a critic charged that the Shiba Inu lead developer focus on revealing a specific date for the Shibarium mainnet launch. Kusama asked him to pay attention to the Maths within the post.
Proponents have already begun making possible interpretations. Some speculate that the post could suggest that Shibarium would launch on August 11, as the number immediately higher than 10 (X in the Roman numeral system) is 11. Others think it could be August 17, a day after the Blockchain Futurist Conference.
Three More SHIB Partnerships
However, before this post, Kusama disclosed in the official Shibarium community Telegram group that the SHIB ecosystem would soon welcome three more partnerships, as The Crypto Basic recently announced.
According to him, one involves dry ink, the second, expected in August, focuses on technology, and the third is worthy of celebrations. Kusama then remarked: “One more thing. An equation: Shib > X.”
Furthermore, in the Shibarium Discord server, the lead developer emphasized that, with Shibarium, the development team will explain how Shiba Inu is greater than X or any asset that mandates iris scans (a possible allusion to Worldcoin). He noted that Shiba Inu’s secret ingredient is the thriving community.
The recent slew of disclosures signals that a crucial update is on the horizon. Responding to the post on X, Lucie, a prominent SHIB community figure, noted that the Shiba Inu project might be including a new variable to the equation.

Notably, in the Discord server, Kusama also asked the community to expect updates and new partnerships soon. He further noted that the team would soon release a new guidebook. The developer confirmed that he is currently working on the Worldpaper. He emphasized that the community is already closed to Shibarium.
However, how these recent clues pertain to the Shibarium launch remains to be seen as of press time. Community members have continued to hold onto speculations amid the slew of teasers.
