Shiba Inu’s marketing specialist Lucie speculates that Shibarium will soon demonstrate its stability and strength, with significant developments occurring behind closed doors.

In a tweet yesterday, Lucie, Shiba Inu’s marketing specialist, shared some favorable updates about Shibarium, the cryptocurrency’s Layer-2 blockchain.

According to the Shiba Inu team member, Shibarium is undergoing significant developments “behind closed doors,” which will soon help the L2 blockchain demonstrate its strength and stability

“#Shibarium will soon demonstrate its strength and stability, with significant developments occurring behind closed doors,” Lucie tweeted.

Lucie revealed that the team has begun the process of renouncing the contract of Bone ShibaSwap (BONE), Shibarium’s official gas token. Per Lucie, renouncing the BONE contract marks a pivotal milestone in Shiba Inu’s journey.

Development Team Confirms BONE Renouncing

Notably, renouncing BONE would mandate the team to give up their ownership and control of the token’s contract. In addition, the team will no longer have access to mint new BONE tokens after renouncing its contract.

As the community persistently called for the renouncing of BONE contract, Shiba Inu developer Kaal Dhairya highlighted the intricacies of the process.

Based on the complex procedure required to renounce the contract, Dhairya disclosed that a new dummy token will be created for BONE renouncing. Shiba Inu’s development team kept to its word and launched the dummy token, dubbed Calcium.

In a recent tweet, Dhairya reiterated that the BONE renouncing process is underway, warning the community not to trade Calcium as the token has no liquidity.

Shibarium Experiences Widespread Adoption Amid Ongoing Developmental Efforts

Meanwhile, Shibarium has been experiencing widespread adoption as the team behind the project continues to build behind the scenes.

Shibarium recently hit a milestone of over 3M transactions and 1.25M wallets in less than a month after its public relaunch.

At press time, Shibarium has a total transaction count of 3,077,406 (3.07 million), while its total interacting addresses currently stands at 1,250,305 (1.25 million).
