Shiba Inu Lead Developer Says It’s Time to End Silence

Following a period of silence, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, has hinted he will begin interacting with the community soon.

The Shiba Inu community has been rife with speculation after the project’s lead developer, the anonymous Shytoshi Kusama, reduced his interactions with the SHIB army to a bare minimum.

One of Shytoshi’s most recent posts on X (formerly Twitter) dates back to early September when the lead developer reflected on the progress being made by Shibarium.

Also, while Shytoshi has been relatively active on the SHIB Telegram channel, the community has been somewhat in the dark about the progress of new features coming to the SHIB ecosystem.

However, Shytoshi is about to end the silence, according to an update shared by Shiba Inu’s lead marketing strategist, Lucie. Shytoshi Kusama further pledged his unwavering support for the community, alluding to the SHIB Woofpaper V2 as evidence that he is still committed to the project’s future.

Meanwhile, Lucie hinted that the return of Shytoshi could be the beginning of “exciting times” for Shiba Inu supporters.

More things to come for Shiba Inu

News of Shytoshi’s return to active engagement with the Shiba Inu community comes within days after team member RagnerShib hinted that there are more things to come for the blockchain project.

Such developments arguably would come in the form of features that would make the Shibarium ecosystem more attractive to investors. In the past week, the Shiba Inu team has unveiled plans to build the “Shiba Hub” app. Digital identity startup Shibarium ID also announced its official launch date, bringing .shib Web3 domains to the Shibarium network.

However, it is important to note that Shibarium ID is not affiliated with the SHIB team, nor do they endorse it. The project is an independent platform looking to build on Shibarium.

Launching these features will do more than provide users with more applications to interact with on the Shibarium. They could also potentially reignite mainstream interest in SHIB and onboard new users to the ecosystem.
