Crypto expert counters predictions of XRP skyrocketing to unprecedented grounds, offering a supposed realistic outlook that has sparked a heated debate in the XRP community.
Wild predictions of XRP’s future trajectory have flooded the crypto scene recently, with some experts arguing the possibility of double and triple-digit values. However, prominent market analysts strongly disagree on XRP’s outlook amid the widely anticipated bull.
The well-known XRP influencer Crypto Assets Guy (CAG) recently took to X to share his counter opinion. He stated that while he holds a strong affection for XRP optimists, there is a need for a dose of realism.

Specifically, CAG argued with what he believes to be a more pragmatic view about the XRP price doubling sentiments.

In parallel, CAG presented what he believes to be a more balanced perspective of XRP trajectory. He argued that XRP could reclaim its 2018 all-time high (ATH) of $3.8 between now and 2024. According to the analyst, XRP reaching the previous highs would have fulfilled each investor’s financial goals.
“It could reach new all-time highs (+$3.70) late 2023-2024, and we should all be more than satisfied,” CAG remarked.
Notably, CAG’s opinion may be seen as a reality check for those who have entertained grandiose hopes of XRP’s value skyrocketing to astronomical figures soon. For example, The Crypto Basic recently reported an analytic projection of XRP between $869 and $1,000.
Similarly, a financial expert has asserted that XRP would be worth more than $500 given its place in facilitating cross-border payments.

Meanwhile, CAG’s opinion did not sit well with other XRP enthusiasts, given that he also provided a timeline for XRP to attain $3.8.
“Saying it won’t reach a certain price is as crazy as saying it will,” X user Sabr reacted. Likewise, another commenter argued that CAG’s projection of XRP reclaiming its ATH would have leaned toward reality if his timelines were 2024 to 2025.
“You might actually have a chance of getting the right prediction because we aren’t going near the ATH this year,” the commenter added.
