Ripple Officially Gives First Hint for IPO Preparation

Ripple has issued what many crypto enthusiasts consider a preparatory step to an initial public offering (IPO).

Ripple gave the hint via a recent hiring move. This development comes amid the growing anticipation for the San Francisco-based payment firm going public via an initial public offering. In particular, Ripple has posted a job opening for a Senior Shareholder Communications Manager across multiple locations in and outside the United States.

Ripple Seeks Shareholder Communications Manager

According to Ripple’s careers page, the company desires Senior Shareholder Communications Managers from two US cities and London, United Kingdom. The US cities include New York City and Miami, Florida.

Fostering Pre and Post-IPO Communication 

Notably, Ripple elaborated on the role and objectives of the incoming Shareholder Communication Manager. One of the pivotal responsibilities is fostering relationships with current and prospective investors of Ripple. 

Also, the individual will manage relationships and communication with financial analysts, reporting directly to Ripple’s Senior Vice President of People and Communications.

Moreover, Ripple highlighted that the Shareholder Communications Manager is responsible for enlightening existing and potential investors and shareholders about its product and business strategy. 

It also includes educating them on Ripple’s performance, financial status, goals, and key announcements. The Senior Shareholder communicator will carry out the responsibility alongside Ripple’s Chief Financial Officer and other senior leaders.

Furthermore, Ripple stated that the shareholder communicator will develop strategic plans and communicate them to the target shareholders and investors. It involves disseminating significant corporate events such as mergers and acquisitions, investments, and other high-impact moments.

Besides, the successful candidate will oversee Ripple’s Investor Relations (IR) calendar of events. This aspect encompasses supervising non-deal roadshows and speaking engagements for executives at financial and crypto-based investor and analyst conferences.

Additionally, the Senior Shareholder Communications Manager will collaborate with other Ripple senior managers, particularly the Product and Marketing crew, to update investor materials. This responsibility involves creating presentations, case studies, analyses, and fact sheets for shareholders and investors.
