The Shiba Inu team has launched a new LinkedIn account for Shibarium, as the network’s daily transactions have spiked over 200% over the past 24 hours.

Leading canine-themed cryptocurrency project Shiba Inu has launched a new LinkedIn account for its L2 blockchain Shibarium. The development was shared yesterday on X (formerly Twitter) by Shiba Inu’s community admin, RagnarShib.

According to RagnarShib, Shiba Inu now has two official LinkedIn accounts – one for its metaverse project (Shib: the Metaverse) and the other for Shibarium.

Notably, the Shiba Inu community admin posted the link to Shibarium’s official LinkedIn account, urging SHIB enthusiasts to follow the accounts to get updates “revolving around the professional world.”

Ragnar’s Previous Warnings About Shiba Inu’s LinkedIn Presence

It can be recalled that RagnarShib had previously warned exchanges that Shiba Inu does not have an official LinkedIn account. He issued the warning after multiple crypto exchanges alerted him that they had been receiving offers to list the Fantom chain version of SHIB.

Per Ragnar, the malicious actors behind these messages claim to be official members of the Shiba Inu team. Consequently, Ragnar issued a note of warning to these platforms, emphasizing that Shiba Inu does not have an official LinkedIn account.

He noted that the only official Shiba Inu account on the social media platform was created for Shib: The Metaverse, managed by Marcie Jastrow.

Shibarium Now Available Across Major Platforms

Following the launch of a LinkedIn account for Shibarium, the L2 blockchain now has official accounts across major social media platforms.

Earlier this year, Shiba Inu’s lead developer, Shytoshi Kusama, launched a Telegram channel for Shibarium. In a similar development, the Shiba Inu team also introduced an X account for the L2 blockchain.

Furthermore, Shibarium also has an official Discord channel with nearly 15K members. Meanwhile, it has become imperative for the Shiba Inu team to expand Shibarium’s presence across various social media platforms due to its growing adoption.

Shibarium Daily Transaction Surges Over 200%

Since its launch on August 16, Shibarium has experienced a massive spike in activity, processing over 3,487,344 (3.48 million) transactions.

In addition, over 1.25 million addresses have interacted with the network, with 1.18 million blocks produced so far. Shibarium has an average block time of 5.0 seconds, ranking it among the fastest Ethereum scaling solutions.

Interestingly, the number of daily transactions recorded an astounding surge in the past 24 hours. According to fresh data on Shibariumscan, the number of daily transactions on Shibarium surged from 10,940 to 33,050, increasing 202% over the past 24 hours.

The primary reason behind the spike in Shibarium’s daily transactions is the recent launch of Sharbi Token (SHARBI). As reported earlier, the Sharbi team launched on Shibarium by listing on the Marswap decentralized exchange yesterday at 21:00 (UTC).

Notably, the event attracted the attention of SHIB enthusiasts who flocked to the DEX to scoop the meme-based cryptocurrency.
