Floki is on track to advertise its ecosystem to an audience of over 120 million through a new prestigious partnership.

Community-led blockchain project Floki has reached a new milestone. On Tuesday, the project announced it would leverage its ongoing partnership with World Table Tennis to promote the Floki token and its sister token, expected to launch on 27 October.

The latest strategic partnership will advertise the Floki ecosystem tokens at the WTT Champions event taking place in Frankfurt between October 29 and November 5, 2023. Precisely, the promotions will see Floki and its sister token appear on the event’s match table LED displays and A-boards, as well as online and offline materials used by the WTT for the event.

Regarding the potential reach of the advertisement deal, Floki estimates that it would reach 120 million people in 189 countries. The audience would largely comprise a young audience, with the age of WTT viewers estimated between 16-49 years old.

Another perk is that WTT events in Frankfurt will be featured on China’s largest sports channel, CCTV-5, alongside 120 other channel territories. Floki noted that its last promotion in collaboration with the WTT in China generated significant “hype and interest” for its ecosystem within the Chinese investor community.

Floki anticipates a similar outcome with its latest efforts, which have a median value of $10 million. Following its previous promotion, Floki became the hottest cryptocurrency in China at the time, and will hope that its sister token also gains wide acceptance. Notably, the WTT Champions event promotion will begin just two days after the token’s release.

Floki Eyes Best Possible Start for New Token

After holding off the launch of a sister token for two years, Floki looks all but set to unveil its yet-to-be-named sister token. As reported by The Crypto Basic in the past week, the new token will launch alongside a staking program that will require users to stake FLOKI to receive rewards in the newer asset.

Meanwhile, the latest marketing partnership with the WTT evidently falls under the umbrella of strategic deals that Floki said it has secured to boost its new token. The project also claims to have secured agreements with leading crypto exchanges to enable support for tokens as soon as it launches.
