Atomic Wallet, a non-custodial decentralized wallet, has confirmed the integration of Shibarium, Shiba Inu’s L2 scaling solution, into its platform.
The team behind the wallet announced the development in a tweet yesterday, emphasizing that the integration will allow its 5 million users to gain access to Shiba Inu’s blockchain.
It bears mentioning that Shiba Inu marketing lead Lucie first shared the development two weeks ago. As reported earlier, Lucie provided visual evidence showing that Atomic has integrated the L2 blockchain into its wallet.
However, Atomic did not confirm the report immediately, as it waited two weeks before releasing an official announcement confirming the development.
Atomic Wallet Now Supports All Shiba Inu Ecosystem Tokens
Meanwhile, Atomic Wallet also shared exciting news for the Shiba Inu community. Following the integration of Shibarium, Atomic Wallet now supports all Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, including SHIB, LEASH, and the official gas token of Shibarium BONE.

Shiba Inu Reacts
In a follow-up tweet, the official Shiba Inu X (formerly Twitter) handle also commented on the development. It gave the Atomic Wallet team a “huge shoutout” for successfully integrating with Shibarium.
It emphasized the importance of the integration, stating that Atomic’s 5 million users can now delve into the world of Shibarium and also gain access to its ecosystem tokens.
Furthermore, Shiba Inu urged the community to express their love to Atomic Wallet for integrating with Shibarium.

Launched in 2017, Atomic Wallet has established itself as a trusted platform for the secure storage of top crypto assets, including BTC, ETH, DOGE, and SHIB. It boasts a huge user base of 5 million global users, with over 500K monthly active users.
Earlier this year, Atomic promised to integrate with Shibarium once the L2 blockchain goes live. Two months after the launch of Shibarium, the non-custodial wallet has finally kept its promise.
Aside from Atomic Wallet, the Shiba Inu L2 blockchain was recently integrated into the official wallet of Australian-based crypto exchange GroveX.
Shibarium Approaches 4M Transaction Milestone
In the meantime, Shibarium has continued to record impressive stats. The L2 blockchain is just a few transactions away from hitting the 4 million milestone. At the time of writing, Shibarium has processed 3,943,178 (3.94 million) transactions.
Additionally, over 1.26 million addresses have interacted with the network since its mainnet launch, with more than 1.66 million blocks processed so far.
