Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous lead developer of Shiba Inu, has left SHIB enthusiasts curious with his recent Telegram message.

However, Kusama stated that he would get angry if malicious actors FUDs (Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt) the upcoming game-changing announcement.

Shibarium Related?

Since Kusam posted the message on the official Shibarium Telegram group, it is expected that this game-changing announcement could be related to the L2 blockchain.

Notably, there have been multiple discussions surrounding the popular L2 blockchain after the team conducted its first-ever Shibarium-powered SHIB burns.

Last week, the team behind Shiba Inu burned over $75,000 worth of SHIB using a part of Shibarium fees. Following the incineration, some community members suggested that the team should also burn Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) alongside SHIB.

However, Kusama refuted the idea of burning BONE, emphasizing that the team would only burn SHIB.

Kusama Thanks Shiba Inu Community

Prior to Kusama hinting at an upcoming game-changing announcement, the Shiba Inu lead developer recently expressed gratitude to Shiba Inu community members.

Although Kusama did not categorically say what the gratitude message was for, SHIB enthusiasts speculated that he could be thanking them for supporting the team throughout the development of Shibarium.

Recall that Shibarium’s mainnet launch was marred with technical glitches, forcing the L2 blockchain to enter into a fail-safe mode. Despite the unfortunate incidents, Shiba Inu community members still threw their weight behind the team while defending the project against FUDs.

Kusama recently dedicated his “Top 50 Most Influential People” award to Shiba Inu community members in appreciation of this commitment.

Shibarium Boasts Impressive Stats

In the meantime, Shibarium has continued to boast impressive stats as its transaction count has surged tremendously. The network has processed 81.36 million transactions in just four months after its mainnet launch, with the daily count standing at 7.87 million.

Furthermore, over 2.05 million blocks have been mined so far, as the number of wallets surpasses 1.3 million to 1,304,229.
