Lucie, Shiba Inu’s marketing lead, has shared exciting news about how enthusiasts of the cryptocurrency can earn SHIB and LEASH tokens.
According to Lucie, Shiba Inu stakers will receive 85 million SHIB and two LEASH tokens over the next four months. The development comes following the upgrade of the ShibaPunkz decentralized application (dApp).

ShibaPunkz to Distribute 85M SHIB and 2 LEASH
For context, ShibaPunkz is a decentralized application that allows users to stake Shiba Inu-themed digital collectibles specifically from ShibaPunkz’s NFT collections.
Before now, ShibaPunkz rewarded stakers using its native token, dubbed SPUNK. Following the upgrade, Lucie disclosed that ShibaPunkz’s stakers would receive 85,000,000 SHIB and two LEASH tokens over the next four months.
It is worth noting that staking has become an integral part of the crypto market in recent times. The concept entails locking your crypto assets for a specific period of time, with participants earning a reward. Notably, staking helps verify a network’s transactions and maintain its integrity.
Over 22M BONES Staked on Shibarium
Following the mainnet launch of Shibarium, more members of the Shiba Inu community have been exposed to staking.
According to data from the Shibarium staking platform, over 22 million Bone ShibaSwap (BONE) tokens have been staked on the popular L2 blockchain.
At the time of writing, a whopping 22,637,010 (22.63 million) BONE tokens have been staked across 12 Shibarium-based validators.
The top three Shibarium validators include ShibArmy America, Unification, and ShibArmy Europe, boasting a flawless 100% uptime. ShibArmy America has the most staked BONE at 5,843,967 (5.84 million), followed by Unification, which has 4,644,472 (4.64 million).
ShibArmy Europe accounts for 3,014,544 (3.01 million) of the 22.63 million BONE tokens staked on the Shibarium network.
In the meantime, Shiba Inu was down 4.7% over the past 24 hours to $0.00000901. On the other hand, LEASH was changing hands at $293.14, down 1.3% on the daily chart.
