Shytoshi Kusama, the pseudonymous lead developer of the Shiba Inu project, has once again changed his location marks on the X (formerly Twitter) platform.
According to Kusama’s location marker, the Shiba Inu’s lead is in El Salvador. The development was first shared by popular SHIB enthusiast “KURO SHIBARMY JPN.”
El Salvador and Crypto
It bears mentioning that El Salvador is a Bitcoin-friendly nation, which officially adopted BTC as a legal tender in 2021. Since El Salvador adopted Bitcoin as a legal tender, it has not declared any intention to support any altcoins, including Shiba Inu.
Famous Bitcoin maximalist Max Keiser has made it known on several occasions that El Salvador does not intend to support altcoins.
Despite El Salvador’s unfriendly position toward altcoins, Kusama’s location marker on the X platform suggests that the Shiba Inu lead developer is currently in the country.

For instance, when the location changed to Japan, KURO speculated that Kusama could be in the country for holidays. KURO noted that the modification period coincides with tourists visiting Japan for holidays due to the snow quality.

Following the constant change of Kusama’s location marks, Shiba Inu enthusiasts have attempted to guess the rationale behind the action.
Some speculated that Kusama could be on a global tour, while others guessed he is working with top developers across these countries to roll out new initiatives for Shiba Inu.
However, other fans believe Kusama is not traveling anywhere, as reflected in his X location marks. People with this notion speculated that the lead developer is manually changing his location from a particular place.
