Top exchange BlueBit integrates Shibarium to allow users to deposit and withdraw Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, including SHIB, LEASH, and BONE, through the network.

The growing interest in Shiba Inu’s L2 blockchain Shibarium does not seem to be ending anytime soon, as another top exchange adds support for the network.

BlueBit is the latest crypto exchange to integrate support for Shibarium. Yesterday, the exchange tweeted that Shibarium had successfully integrated into its platform.

The exchange anticipates that the integration will foster a stronger bond between the Shiba Inu and BlueSparrow communities and pave the way for more remarkable accomplishments.

Shiba Inu and BlueBit React

Commenting on the development, BlueBit’s Chief Operating Officer (COO) Terri Bennett described the exchange’s integration with Shibairum as “best news.” Bennett added that she is proud of the BlueBit team for accomplishing the feat.

Furthermore, the official Shiba Inu’s X handle also reacted to the development by thanking BlueBit for the support.

Launched on March 31, 2022, BlueBit is a centralized exchange headquartered in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. The exchange has supported over 100 crypto assets since its launch in 2022.

Some of the assets include BTC, ETH, XRP, and ADA. It also supports all Shiba Inu ecosystem tokens, such as SHIB, BONE, and LEASH.

By integrating Shibarium, users can withdraw their SHIB, BONE, and LEASH tokens from BlueBit to their native Shibarium wallet.

Other Shibarium Support

It is worth mentioning that BlueBit is not the only crypto exchange that has added support for Shibarium since the L2 network launched last year. As reported earlier, top exchanges like Gate.io and GroveX have already integrated with Shibarium.

Furthermore, top wallet providers, including Frontier, have added support for Shibarium. Other crypto storage platforms, like Exodus and Atomic Wallets, have also revealed plans to support Shibarium in the future.

Shibarium Stats

As Shibarium continues to score integration from top platforms, its user activity is expected to skyrocket to unprecedented levels.

In the hours leading up to press time, Shibarium’s total transactions stood at 412.2 million. The number of daily transactions on Shibarium, which spiked to around 7.5 million in December, has plummeted heavily. The daily transaction on the network is currently around 6,700.

According to data from Shibariumscan, while the number of Shibarium’s wallet addresses has reached 1,383,569 (1.38 million), the total blocks minted is around 3,819,474 (3.81 million).
