Ripple joins efforts with global payments solutions provider Clear Junction to boost cross-border payouts for GBP and EUR currencies.

On Wednesday, Ripple announced this strategic joint venture with Clear Junction, aiming to optimize their customers’ EUR and GBP payout capabilities. According to the report, this new alliance will alter how payments are processed across the UK and the European Union borders, promising faster and more secure transactions.

Strengthening Cross-Border Transactions

Through this partnership, Clear Junction will permit prompt and reliable payouts in EUR and GBP for Ripple’s clientele. This initiative is expected to significantly enhance the efficiency of transactions for businesses operating across these regions. Moreover, Ripple noted that plans to integrate additional currencies later this year are in place.

Ripple’s Managing Director for Europe, Cassie Craddock, highlighted the synergy between the two companies, stating that Clear Junction’s ability to support Ripple’s use cases from the outset makes them an ideal partner.

Furthermore, Craddock noted that Clear Junction’s extensive experience in banking and cross-border payments complements Ripple’s efforts to provide enhanced payment solutions.

Enhanced Operational Security and Compliance

As an FCA-authorised e-money institution, Clear Junction brings a robust operational framework that ensures the security of funds and compliance with necessary payment industry standards.

According to the press release, the company has achieved ISO 27001 attestation, underscoring its focus on the highest data security standards.

Dima Kats, founder of Clear Junction, expressed enthusiasm for the partnership. He noted that affiliating with Ripple allows Clear Junction to integrate cutting-edge blockchain technology into their services, furthering the evolution of correspondent banking. Kats remarked:

Founded in 2016, Clear Junction offers e-money solutions, multi-currency payment accounts, treasury services, and virtual IBANs to licensed financial institutions. This collaboration with Ripple will enable both companies to swiftly and effectively penetrate new markets.
