Charting Guy, a prominent market analyst, projects XRP price for when Bitcoin (BTC) hits $150,000, Ethereum (ETH) clinches $10,000 and Solana (SOL) reaches $600.
The analyst revealed these predictions on the back of the consolidation phase prevalent in the market. Notably, the broader crypto community has observed varying price projections based on multiple analyses amid the ongoing market uncertainty.
While Bitcoin’s ability to clinch a new all-time high before the halving in April generated bullish sentiments, the unparalleled nature of this feat has cast doubt on the predictability of this cycle. However, some market watchers point out similarities in previous cycles that could assist in pinpointing the next direction.
For instance, a recent report from CryptoQuant’s Research Head Julio Moreno identified similarities in different halving years. Citing the similarities, the report confirmed a breakout for Bitcoin could occur in Q4 2024. This pattern played out in 2016 and 2020. Similar predictions citing the 2017 breakout have sprung up for XRP.
Amid these projections, Charting Guy recently presented ambitious price targets for four of the largest cryptocurrencies: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana and XRP. His report made predictions for the possible prices of these assets in Q1 2025, specifically from February to May.
Price Targets for Q1 2025
According to him, Bitcoin could skyrocket to a price between $100,000 to $150,000 by next year. Notably, the lower target, $100,000, would represent a 68% increase in Bitcoin’s price. However, the $150,000 price would mark a much higher 153% rise. BTC is already up 40% this year.
Meanwhile, Charting Guy expects Ethereum, the second-largest crypto asset, to reach a price range of $10,000 to $15,000, representing a 284% to 476% increase from its current price. For Solana, Charting Guy believes a 186% rise to $400 or a 330% spike to $600 is possible by Q1 2025.
XRP Price Prediction
However, his target for XRP represents the most ambitious price projection. The market analyst says XRP is capable of reaching $8 to $13 in the first quarter of 2025. Interestingly, another market watcher Bobby A has persistently projected the same $8 to $13 price target for XRP.
Another analyst Casi further set the $8 to $13 price target in May. Moreover, earlier this week, pseudonymous analyst Lucky Chart Ape also predicted XRP to reach $8. He urged investors to open long positions, emphasizing his unwavering confidence. Matthew Dixon, the CEO of crypto resource Evai, sees XRP hitting $13.
XRP currently changes hands at $0.5641, down 9.4% this month. From this level, the crypto asset would need to skyrocket 1,318% to reach the lower target of $8. Meanwhile, the $13 projection would demand a much larger 2,204% price spike.
