50,291,996 XRP Leaves Bitget for Unknown Wallet After Exchange Reopens Withdrawals

50,291,996 (50.29M) XRP Moves From Bitget to Wallet With Long Exchange History

A large XRP transfer has moved 50,291,996 tokens, valued at approximately $75.96 million, from Bitget to an unlabeled wallet.

However, the receiving address has a long history of sending and receiving XRP from the exchange, making the transfer more complex than a typical whale withdrawal.

Whale Alert identified the recipient as r3AEihLNr81VYUf5PdfH5wLPqtJJyJs6yY. While the address carries no public entity label, historical transactions show repeated high-value transfers between the wallet and Bitget over several years.

Recipient Has Repeatedly Received XRP From Bitget

The latest 50.29 million XRP transfer is not the first large movement from Bitget to this address.

On Nov. 7, 2024, Bitget transferred approximately 38.02 million XRP, worth about $20.99 million at the time, to the same wallet.

Another much larger transfer followed on Aug. 13, 2025, when Bitget sent 44.75 million XRP to the address. The tokens were worth roughly $147.45 million at the time.

These earlier transfers establish a recurring connection between the exchange and the recipient rather than a one-time interaction.

Wallet Has Also Sent Tens of Millions of XRP Back to Bitget

The relationship works in both directions.

In April 2024, the address sent 30 million XRP to Bitget, then worth around $14.17 million.

Three months later, another 20 million XRP moved from the same wallet to the exchange.

The activity continued in November 2024, when the address deposited 40 million XRP into Bitget.

More recently, the wallet sent 30 million XRP to Bitget on Nov. 27, 2025, followed by another 30 million XRP two days later. Those transfers were worth about $65.3 million and $66.1 million, respectively.

Transfer Comes Days After Bitget Hack

The transaction also comes shortly after Bitget suffered a security breach on Sept. 24 that affected approximately $351.6 million in assets, including XRP, ETH, stablecoins, and other tokens. Bitget said its cold wallets were unaffected and that user balances remained protected by its Protection Fund.

Bitget subsequently announced a phased withdrawal restoration plan. Bitcoin withdrawals resumed first on Sept. 28, followed by ETH on Sept. 29 and USDT on Sept. 30. The exchange scheduled withdrawals for other tokens, fiat, and P2P for Oct. 2.

Latest Transfer Does Not Confirm Whale Accumulation

Exchange outflows are often interpreted as tokens moving into private storage, potentially reducing the amount immediately available for sale.

However, the history of r3AEih…Js6yY means that interpretation cannot be established from the latest transaction alone.

The address has repeatedly received XRP from Bitget and later sent large quantities back to the exchange. This activity could be consistent with an institutional client, custodian, liquidity operation, or wallet connected to Bitget, but public labels do not establish who controls it.

What the blockchain data confirms is that 50.29 million XRP worth roughly $75.96 million moved from Bitget to an unlabeled address with years of two-way transaction history with the exchange.

The transfer itself does not establish whether the XRP was purchased, moved into long-term storage, or shifted for internal or operational purposes.
