COTI Introduces New Privacy Products

COTI unveiled its COTI 2.0 direction on October 10, introducing Interphase and COTI Global alongside a redesigned website. The company describes Interphase as a service for transferring assets confidentially across more than 30 blockchains, while COTI Global focuses on using crypto for private everyday payments. The announcement outlines the products’ intended capabilities without establishing how widely they are being used.

Japan’s OKJ Announces Midnight’s NIGHT Listing

Japanese exchange OKJ announced on October 10 that it plans to add Midnight’s NIGHT token on October 13 at 5 p.m. Japan time, bringing its supported asset count to 55. The rollout will include exchange trading, brokerage purchases, recurring purchases, deposits and withdrawals, with transfers supported over Cardano. OKJ said the listing would make it Japan’s first crypto exchange to offer NIGHT through order-book trading, according to its own research.

MEXC Schedules Removal of 14 Perpetual Futures Markets

MEXC issued an October 10 notice announcing that 14 USDT-margined perpetual futures markets will be removed on October 14 at 7 a.m. UTC, including contracts for BOBA, RON, ZBCN and TFUEL. At the deadline, the exchange will cancel outstanding orders and settle remaining positions using its fair price at that time. The affected contracts will also be removed from demo trading and futures grid trading where applicable.

KuCoin Pauses Monero Deposits and Withdrawals

KuCoin announced on October 10 that it had temporarily suspended Monero deposits and withdrawals for wallet maintenance. The exchange said transfers would resume once the work was complete, but provided no reopening time. It also told customers that restoration would not be accompanied by a separate announcement.
