XRP whale outflows on Binance have fallen to a five-year low of $49.7M as CryptoQuant data shows large-holder activity fading despite XRP’s resilience.
XRP whale outflows from Binance have fallen to their lowest level in five years, suggesting that large holders are withdrawing far less XRP from the exchange than during earlier accumulation phases.
CryptoQuant data shows the 90-day moving average of XRP whale outflows has dropped to $49.7 million, returning to levels last seen around October 2021.
That represents a sharp reversal from February 2025, when the same 90-day average reached roughly $3.5 billion.

XRP is currently trading around $1.34, according to CoinMarketCap, after retreating substantially from the roughly $3.3 area highlighted near the previous cycle peak.
XRP Whale Outflows Have Collapsed From the 2025 Peak
The attached CryptoQuant chart tracks XRP price alongside whale withdrawals from Binance and their 90-day moving average.
The most striking change appears around early 2025. As XRP traded near the upper end of its cycle, the 90-day average of whale outflows accelerated toward $3.5 billion.
Individual daily outflows also produced several exceptionally large spikes, with some exceeding $10 billion in dollar terms.
That activity has steadily disappeared.
The pink 90-day moving-average line on the chart falls almost continuously from its 2025 peak toward the current $49.7 million reading.
Based on those two figures, the moving average has declined by approximately 98.6%.
At the same time, the purple daily outflow bars have compressed toward the bottom of the chart.
Compared with the repeated spikes visible through 2022, 2023, and early 2025, recent large-holder withdrawals from Binance have become unusually subdued.
Exchange outflows are often watched as a potential accumulation signal because assets leaving a trading platform can indicate movement toward external wallets.
However, an exchange withdrawal does not by itself prove that a whale purchased XRP or intends to hold it long term.
Whales on Sidelines as 2022 and 2023 Show a Different Whale Pattern
The historical section of the chart provides another important comparison.
During 2022 and 2023, XRP traded largely between roughly $0.30 and $0.70, yet Binance repeatedly recorded sizeable whale outflow spikes.
The 90-day average also remained considerably higher than its current level for much of that period.
This creates the basis for CryptoQuant’s interpretation that lower XRP prices provided large holders with more attractive accumulation conditions.
The present structure is different. XRP has fallen sharply from its 2025 highs but remains well above the depressed prices seen during the 2022-2023 period.
CryptoQuant argues that this relative price resilience may explain why whales have not returned with the same intensity: XRP may simply not have fallen far enough to produce the type of large-scale withdrawal activity seen at earlier cycle lows.
Five-Year Low Could Matter for XRP Buying Support
The $49.7 million reading also brings the 90-day average back to a zone last seen around October 2021, near the closing stage of the previous crypto bull cycle.
That historical comparison does not mean XRP must repeat the same subsequent price path. Instead, it shows how unusually low current whale withdrawal activity has become relative to the past five years.
From a longer-term market perspective, sustained weakness in whale outflows could mean XRP is missing one source of large-holder demand that was more visible during previous accumulation periods.
However, the relationship is not absolute. Extremely low activity can also appear near periods when market interest is exhausted and positioning eventually begins to reverse.
CryptoQuant therefore presents the current reading as a condition to monitor rather than confirmation of further XRP downside.
For now, the chart shows a clear divergence: XRP has retained substantially more of its value than during previous bear-market accumulation zones, while whale outflows have fallen to their weakest level in five years.
