XRP Needs Two Signals for a Return to $1.50

XRP Ledger wallets hit a record 8.24M as network growth reaches 4,772, but Santiment says price and wallet growth must align for a return to $1.50.

XRP’s on-chain growth is strengthening even as its price struggles to establish the same upward trend, creating two clear conditions that could determine whether the asset can return to $1.50.

Santiment data shows the XRP Ledger has reached a record 8.24 million non-empty wallets, while network growth recently jumped to 4,772 new wallets in a single day. The latter represents the fifth-largest daily increase since March.

XRP Ledger wallets hit a record 8.24M
Santiment data shows XRP Ledger non-empty wallets reaching a record 8.24 million as daily network growth climbs to 4,772, while XRP remains below the $1.40 confirmation level.

The chart captured XRP trading at roughly $1.36, but CoinMarketCap currently places the asset around $1.32.

Santiment’s bullish scenario requires more than growing wallet numbers. XRP would need to sustain a move above $1.40 while daily XRP network growth remains near or above 4,000 new wallets. If both conditions hold, the analytics platform considers a relatively quick return to $1.50 plausible.

XRP Wallet Count Keeps Rising Despite Price Volatility

The strongest trend on the chart is not XRP’s price but the steady expansion in wallets holding a non-zero balance.

The yellow holder-count line rises almost continuously from May through October. It begins around the 7.8 million region and progresses steadily toward the latest record of 8.24 million.

Price followed a much less consistent path over the same period.

XRP declined sharply during parts of May and June, recovered during the following months, rallied again around September, and subsequently gave back part of that advance.

Yet these price reversals did not produce a comparable reversal in the number of funded wallets.

That divergence is significant because it shows that the XRP Ledger’s wallet base continued expanding even when XRP itself was not consistently appreciating.

However, 8.24 million wallets should not be interpreted as 8.24 million individual XRP investors.

One person or organization can control multiple addresses, so the metric measures non-empty wallets rather than unique people.

New XRP Wallet Creation Jumps to 4,772

The second important part of the chart is Santiment’s network-growth metric, shown in pink.

For much of the displayed period, daily network growth fluctuated broadly around the lower thousands, interspersed with several sharp bursts of new-wallet creation.

The latest reading climbed to 4,772 new wallets in one day. Santiment identifies this as the fifth-largest daily spike since March, indicating that fresh wallet creation has accelerated again rather than merely relying on the gradual accumulation of existing funded addresses.

That distinction matters for the price thesis. The record 8.24 million figure is a cumulative measure and therefore naturally moves more slowly.

Daily network growth provides a more immediate indication of whether new wallets are continuing to enter the network.

Two Signals: XRP Needs $1.40 and 4,000 Daily Wallets

Santiment’s path toward $1.50 therefore depends on two signals moving together.

First, XRP needs a sustained move above $1.40. Second, network growth needs to remain around or above 4,000 new wallets per day.

The price condition would show that the market is beginning to confirm the expanding wallet base rather than leaving an increasingly wide gap between adoption metrics and XRP’s valuation.

The network condition would indicate that the latest 4,772-wallet reading is developing into sustained participation rather than proving to be a one-day spike.

At $1.50, XRP would also be returning to territory it occupied earlier this month. CoinGecko historical data shows XRP around $1.50 on Oct. 6 before the subsequent decline.

The Downside Scenario Centers on $1.30

Santiment also provides a clear invalidation condition.

If XRP loses $1.30 while network growth falls below roughly 3,000 new wallets per day, the short-term adoption signal would become less convincing.

That condition has gained relevance because XRP has already moved from the approximately $1.36 level shown on Santiment’s chart toward $1.32-$1.33 today.

The record wallet count alone therefore does not confirm a bullish price move. The stronger setup would require the two sides of the chart to begin aligning: continued expansion in new XRP wallets alongside a sustained recovery above $1.40.
