Cardano Cup-and-Handle Pattern Eyes 73% Rally if ADA Price Reclaims This Level

Cardano (ADA) eyes an imminent price recovery if it breaks out of a pattern on its weekly chart, according to crypto analyst Giannis Andreou.

The analyst believes a cup-and-handle pattern is forming after ADA rebounded from the $0.14–$0.16 range last month and formed a rounded bottom.

For the bullish outlook to be confirmed, ADA must close a weekly candle above $0.278 and successfully retest that level.

ADA Eyes $0.416 After $0.278 Breakout

According to Andreou’s chart, a confirmed breakout above $0.278 would put $0.3633 and $0.3995 in line of sight. The analyst also identified an approximate cup-depth target of $0.416, representing a potential 73.5% increase from the chart’s reference price of $0.239.

A move beyond these levels could open the door to higher price targets at $0.5116, $0.8059, and $0.9601. The chart places the most ambitious target at $1.3291, implying a potential 477.4% gain from the same reference price.

Meanwhile, these projections depend on ADA clearing the breakout trigger and maintaining its upward structure. Andreou warned that losing the rising support line would weaken the setup, while a breakdown below the $0.14–$0.16 base would undermine the pattern.

Cardano Price Slips 11.5% in a Week

However, ADA is currently struggling to maintain its recent gains amid renewed selling pressure. CoinMarketCap data shows the token trading at $0.2238, down 3% over the past 24 hours and 11.5% over the past week.

Despite the recent decline, ADA remains up 13.5% over the past month, indicating that it has retained part of its recovery.

At its current price, ADA remains below Andreou’s $0.278 breakout trigger. The token would need to climb approximately 24.2% to reach that level, where a weekly close followed by a successful retest could strengthen the bullish case. Until that happens, the projected targets remain conditional rather than confirmed price objectives.

ADA 7–10-Day Recovery Outlook

Meanwhile, Crypto Banter analyst Sheldon predicts Cardano (ADA) could resume its upward move within the next seven to 10 days.

Speaking during a YouTube livestream, Sheldon said the current market weakness will last another week or two before cryptocurrencies stage sharp recoveries. He expects ADA to turn green once the consolidation phase ends, particularly if prices reach his identified buying zones.

Similarly, crypto commentator George argues Cardano could stage a Solana-style comeback, wherein SOL soared from $8 in 2022 to an all-time high of $294 in 2025. However, ADA’s potential recovery will depend on sustained buying demand and broader market conditions.
