Trump Media Stock Eyes Seventh Loss With Truth Social Traffic Down Over 30%

Trump Media & Technology Group (NASDAQ: DJT) shares were quoted at $7.10, down 1.72%, in Thursday’s early morning trade, putting the stock on course for a seventh straight losing session amid a new report that documented a sharp decline in traffic to its Truth Social platform.

The stock closed down 6.84% at $7.22 on Wednesday, extending its losing streak to six sessions.

The Washington Post reported Wednesday evening, after the regular U.S. stock market close, that Truth Social’s daily audience had fallen by more than 30% over the past year.

Digital intelligence firm Similarweb estimated that Truth Social averaged approximately 260,000 daily users in September 2026, compared with a peak of about 420,000 in June 2025. The comparison with the June 2025 peak covers roughly 15 months, longer than the year-over-year period.

The figures are Similarweb estimates, not user counts reported by Trump Media.

DJT has fallen approximately 16.5% across its six completed losing sessions, from $8.65 on October 6. Wednesday’s drop occurred during a broader U.S. market selloff after September consumer inflation rose to 3.7%, above the 3.6% forecast. The Nasdaq Composite declined 1.88% that day.

Truth Social Traffic Decline Puts Advertising Revenue in Focus

Truth Social’s audience size affects how many users advertisers can reach, making traffic a key factor in its advertising business.

In its second-quarter regulatory filing, Trump Media reported a year-over-year decline in Truth Social advertising revenue. However, total company revenue rose 89% to about $1.67 million, compared with $883,300 a year earlier.

The company attributed the overall revenue increase to advertising services provided under a barter arrangement, subscriptions to its Truth+ streaming service, and management fees from Truth.Fi exchange-traded funds.

The Similarweb estimates measure audience traffic, not advertising sales. Trump Media has not disclosed whether the reported audience decline affected advertising revenue after June.
