Shiba Inu Burn Portal Teases Major Crypto Market Shake-Up Announcement

0

Shiba Inu community burn tracker Shibburn teases the upcoming introduction of a significant development poised to shake up the broader crypto market.

In a tweet today, Shibburn revealed that it will make a major announcement later this week. According to the team, the update will be so impactful that it could influence the entire cryptocurrency space.

This signals an ambitious outlook, suggesting that the forthcoming news may not only affect Shiba Inu but could also have broader implications across the crypto industry.

Meanwhile, Shibburn clarified that the announcement does not involve a potential token sale.

This clarification is important, as many speculated that Shibburn might be planning to release a new token. As expected, followers quickly took to the comments section seeking more details about the announcement.

Most commenters asked whether the upcoming update would involve a new partnership that benefits SHIB. However, Shibburn has not responded to these inquiries.

Shiba Inu Shibburn Celebrates 4th Anniversary

Meanwhile, the announcement comes an hour after Shibburn took to X to celebrate its fourth anniversary. In 2021, the team behind Shibburn launched a dedicated platform that tracks the incineration of SHIB tokens.

This platform has kept Shiba Inu enthusiasts and the broader cryptocurrency community informed about SHIB token burns in real-time. According to the team, the Shibburn platform was the first project launched in the Shiba Inu ecosystem after the SHIB token was introduced.

It expressed gratitude to everyone who has supported the Shibburn project since its launch, emphasizing that it truly appreciates their contributions to its growth.

Next Phase Loading

Following its success over the past four years, Shibburn hinted at plans to introduce the next phase of its project.

“Stay tuned for the next phase,” it said in a follow-up comment.

This suggests that Shibburn may be preparing to transition from its current operation into a new stage of development. Currently, Shibburn is recognized for tracking all transactions related to the incineration of Shiba Inu tokens.

It releases an hourly report on its X handle, highlighting the number of tokens burned over the past 24 hours and 7 days. The community burn tracker provides concise details about each burn on its website, showing the wallets behind the transactions and the total tokens held in the burn contract.

Now, Shibburn is teasing the upcoming introduction of the next phase, which will be revealed this week. While it remains unclear what the next phase entails, Shibburn has clarified that it does not intend to launch a new token.

Shibburn’s Past Efforts to Launch an L1 Blockchain

Although Shibburn has actively reported on SHIB token burn transactions, the project has attempted to diversify its operations. Following the mainnet launch of Shibarium in August 2023, Shibburn created a new project, dubbed Shib Association, in September 2023.

It claimed that the Shib Association will introduce several projects and utilities that would drive the growth of the SHIB token. To achieve this aim, the Shib Association promptly commenced the development of a new L1 blockchain, which could utilize SHIB as its native token.

The team initially scheduled a demo release for the blockchain in early 2024. However, as of now, the project has yet to materialize. Moreover, the official X account for the Shib Association has been inactive since December 2023.

It remains unclear whether Shibburn’s upcoming update relates to the blockchain project.

Researcher Says XRP Chart Looks ‘Absolutely Horrible’, Warns of Potential Drop

0

Ripple Van Winkle says XRP chart looks weak, warns of drop below $2 without major catalysts, but maintains long-term targets remain.

XRP has faced a bearish trajectory over the past week, falling from around $2.35 to approximately $2.15. Although it briefly touched a low of $2.11 on May 31, the asset managed a minor recovery, trading at $2.17 at press time.

Bearish Sentiment from Ripple Van Winkle

Against this backdrop, crypto researcher Ripple Van Winkle described XRP’s recent chart as “absolutely horrible.”

He highlighted that the current movement lacks strength and warned that without a significant market event, the token could fall back below the $2 level. He further noted that he had initially hoped for multiple bullish waves, rather than a single large upward move, which he considers less sustainable.

He also emphasized the current lack of momentum in the market, describing the overall sentiment as “very stale.” He suggested that approval of an XRP ETF could help revive activity. While expressing optimism about Bitcoin potentially reaching $120,000 next, he noted that altcoins, including XRP, may have to wait.

Continuing his remarks in the comment section, he distinguished between holders and traders. According to him, long-term holders should remain unaffected by the short-term downtrend, while traders may need to act with more caution. He maintained that his long-term targets for XRP remain unchanged despite the current market state.

In addition, he referenced the potential impact of the Hidden Road deal, suggesting that regulatory clarity on stablecoins could amplify its effect. However, he clarified that market participants should not rely solely on bullish narratives, as market conditions remain in flux.

Bullish Forecasts from Remi Relife

In contrast, crypto commentator Remi Relife provided an optimistic forecast, suggesting XRP could begin trading in a higher price range as early as June or July. He cited the end of what he called the “delay era,” pointing to a series of developments that could serve as catalysts.

These include the launch of X-Payments, potential announcements around the Genius Act on stablecoin regulation, and a resolution in the ongoing SEC case. He also mentioned XRP ETFs and broader transitions such as ISO 20022 integration and renewed institutional interest as critical mid-2025 factors.

According to Remi, these events, especially when timed with the summer period, could trigger significant market movements.

He tied the timing to both technical analysis and historical chart trends, stating that the anticipated shift is backed by Fibonacci levels and past market behavior. He emphasized that institutional triggers, if realized, could drastically impact XRP’s trajectory in a short period.

Institutional Triggers and Supply Constraints Highlighted

Expanding further, Remi stated that the launch of XRP-based ETFs could result in a major supply squeeze. He speculated that if ETFs allocate 20 XRP per share, institutional demand could deplete available retail and OTC liquidity.

He argued that there is already limited XRP circulating in the market, and increased interest from large investors may only heighten this shortage.

Meanwhile, other analysts echoed the view that June could be pivotal. Martin Hiesboeck, Head of Research at Uphold, cited several potential triggers including the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision, the XRP Ledger APEX Summit in Singapore, and expected XRPL updates.

These updates may feature AI integration, DeFi expansion, and support for tokenized assets, all of which could contribute to broader price movements in the coming weeks.

Bitcoin Maximalist Predicts XRP Price — Even If Bitcoin Hits $100M

A Bitcoin maximalist and Chartered Financial Analyst insists XRP will not move past a two-digit price even if Bitcoin claims $100 million.

Notably, XRP has drawn a lot of attention recently, with multiple bold predictions about its future price. Proponents point to its growing use in cross-border payments, arguing that better regulations and more institutional interest could give it a strong push.

Ambitious XRP Price Targets

One of the most talked-about forecasts comes from analyst BarriC, who believes XRP could hit $100. However, in April, CryptoGuard’s Chief Operating Officer Matthew Brienen took things further, predicting that XRP could rise to $1,000.

While investors question how this price could materialize, market commentator John Squire is already predicting an even higher price. He suggested months back that a $10,000 price for XRP was not just possible, but actually conservative.

Soni believes a $10,000 XRP Target is Unrealistic.

However, not everyone agrees. Rajat Soni, a Chartered Financial Analyst and outspoken Bitcoin supporter, sees these predictions as completely unrealistic. In his recent analysis, he pushed back, calling the idea of a $10,000 XRP flat-out nonsense.

In presenting his reason, he pointed out that XRP has a total supply of 100 billion coins, while Bitcoin’s top supply is 21 million. He also noted that Bitcoin can be broken down into 2.1 quadrillion satoshis. By that math, each XRP would represent 21,000 satoshis.

At the time of his disclosure, XRP traded at $2.20, while 21,000 satoshis cost about $22. Based on this, Soni argued that Bitcoin holds at least 1,000 times more value than XRP.

XRP Would Hit $20 at Most When BTC Claims $100M

Using this comparison, he predicted that XRP would lose about 99.9% of its value compared to Bitcoin in the future. If Bitcoin ever reaches $100 million, making one satoshi equal to $1, then 1 XRP would be worth no more than $20.

Soni added that such a jump in Bitcoin’s price would mean the U.S. dollar had lost more than 95% of its value. In today’s terms, he said, 1 Bitcoin would be worth around $5 million, and 21,000 satoshis would equal about $1,050. That would put XRP’s value at just $1 when adjusted for inflation.

While predictions of XRP hitting $1,000 or $10,000 seem far-fetched, Soni’s take also leans to the extreme. His claim that XRP could lose almost all of its value against Bitcoin does not line up with recent trends.

Currently, XRP trades at $2.16, while Bitcoin sits at $105,174. This puts the XRP-to-Bitcoin ratio at 0.00002053. If XRP reaches $22 when Bitcoin hits $100 million, the ratio would fall to 0.00000020. That would be a 99% drop in value compared to Bitcoin.

Current Market Realities

However, this outcome seems unlikely, especially since XRP has continued to outperform Bitcoin over the past few months, gaining 183% against the crypto firstborn since November 2024.

Meanwhile, if Bitcoin ever does reach $100 million, its market cap would jump to nearly $1.987 quadrillion. Interestingly, should it retain its current market dominance of 64.58%, the total crypto market cap would hit $3.076 quadrillion.

Notably, should XRP also maintain its 3.94% market share under those conditions, its market cap would rise to $121.194 trillion. That would bring XRP’s price to about $1,244.

So, while it’s technically possible for XRP to hit $1,244 if Bitcoin skyrockets and the market stays exactly as it is now, this is still a long shot. The global economy doesn’t have nearly enough money in circulation to support those values right now, especially at a $100 million Bitcoin price.

Cardano Founder Shares His Bold Bitcoin Price Target, Predicts BTC Could Reach $250K to $500K

0

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson has reaffirmed his position on Bitcoin’s long-term value trajectory and evolving role in decentralized finance.

Speaking at the Bitcoin conference, Hoskinson outlined his vision for a $10 trillion Bitcoin ecosystem, with projections placing its value between $250,000 and $500,000 over the coming years.

The keynote addressed Bitcoin’s history, foundational rules, and growing interaction with other blockchain networks. Hoskinson emphasized how the crypto landscape has shifted from small-scale mining and forums to a global movement, now serving over 550 million participants.

Hoskinson began his remarks by recalling Bitcoin’s early days, highlighting the contrast with the large-scale mining operations present at the conference. He noted that older, simpler mining setups produced more Bitcoin in their lifetime than today’s multimillion-dollar equipment.

He then referenced Bitcoin’s early infrastructure limitations, such as peer-to-peer transactions through PayPal and websites like Bitmitt, which preceded modern exchange platforms.

Bitcoin’s Core Principles and Interoperability Hurdles

He reiterated three long-standing principles for Bitcoin: exclusivity to the Bitcoin asset, all transactions and fees paid in BTC, and yield generated solely in Bitcoin. These conditions, he argued, present obstacles for integrating DeFi functionalities into Bitcoin.

However, Hoskinson suggested that new infrastructure, wallet layers, and smart contract tooling could address these limitations without violating core ideals.

To illustrate this, he presented a modular stack concept, referencing infrastructure players such as Sergey Lerner and the Fairgate team, Sundial, and Bitcoin Operating System.

He emphasized upcoming improvements in finality, security, and cost. In particular, he discussed wallet innovations that allow users to toggle between standard and DeFi modes, referencing ongoing work from his team at Input Output Global. The wallet design honors Bitcoin’s foundational rules while allowing interaction with DeFi applications.

Demonstrations Show Bitcoin DeFi Access

Previously, a demonstration at the Bitcoin conference showcased Bitcoin swaps into Minswap tokens using the Lace Wallet interface. The process involved trust-minimized transaction fee abstraction using Babel fees by Fluid Tokens. Users completed swaps directly within the wallet while paying fees in Bitcoin.

The transaction architecture preserved control over user assets without leaving the Bitcoin network. This marked a notable example of how native Bitcoin can now engage with Cardano-based DeFi applications.

Further development plans from Input Output Global include integrating the Cardinal protocol to bridge USDC from Bitcoin into the Cardano ecosystem. The protocol, led by CTO Romain Pellerin, continues efforts to increase interoperability between the two networks. The approach also supports other Bitcoin derivatives like Litecoin and Dogecoin.

Hoskinson Confirms Cardano Plans for XRP DeFi

Hoskinson has also previously confirmed Cardano’s plans to expand into XRP DeFi. He disclosed ongoing work to integrate smart contract capabilities onto the XRP Ledger. This initiative seeks to unlock approximately $140 billion of additional value for the Cardano network.

Hoskinson also addressed the historical tension between the Cardano and XRP communities. Following a recent reconciliation, he acknowledged renewed collaboration with Ripple, the largest contributor to the XRP Ledger. Plans involve adding a computational layer to enable functions such as native borrowing and lending on the XRP network.

Meanwhile, Cardano’s broader strategy continues to promote tooling like Plutus and Aiken for smart contract compatibility across networks. The team, including Riley and Brandon from IOG, is exploring future-proof development environments such as BitVMX, built on RISC-V architecture, to support this cross-chain integration.

630M XRP on the Move, Ripple Involved in Movement; Here is What’s Happening

0

More than 600 million XRP have been transferred in multiple transactions linked to Ripple and other unknown entities.

Interestingly, these movements are occurring even as Ripple has yet to initiate its usual 1 billion XRP unlock for the new month.

Notably, Whale Alert highlighted the ongoing XRP movements on its official X handle. According to a series of updates, Ripple and other unidentified entities moved 630 million XRP across five transactions. At the current price of $2.17 per token, this total is valued at approximately $1.36 billion.

Latest Transfers

The first of the latest transfers occurred on June 1, 2025, at 11:00 p.m. (UTC). Whale Alert reported that an unknown wallet transferred 330 million XRP to an address affiliated with Ripple in that transaction.

However, data from XRPScan confirmed that the transaction was an in-house transfer between two Ripple wallets. Specifically, the payments company transferred the 330 million XRP from its address ‘Ripple 26’ to another tagged ‘Ripple 1.’

Two minutes later, the ‘Ripple 26’ wallet transferred 170 million XRP to another blockchain wallet belonging to the company tagged ‘Ripple 15.’

Ripple Locks 670M XRP in Escrow

After these transfers, Ripple locked up 670 million XRP in escrow across two transactions. The first transaction locked 200 million XRP in escrow using one of its wallets, tagged “Ripple 14.”

In addition, the company locked the remaining 470 million in escrow using its “Ripple 15” wallet, which received 170 million XRP during Ripple’s latest shuffling.

Ripple’s latest escrow activity departs from its usual pattern of releasing up to 1 billion XRP on the first day of a new month and then re-locking roughly 700 million tokens into escrow. This latest pattern has been observed in recent months, including May 2025.

On May 1, Ripple first shuffled 1 billion XRP among its wallets and later re-locked 700 million XRP. These transactions occurred even before Ripple initiated its monthly escrow release of 1 billion tokens.

However, after the transactions, Ripple unlocked the usual 1 billion XRP the following day, May 2, 2025.

Ripple Moves Another 130M XRP

Meanwhile, after locking 670 million XRP in escrow, XRP-related movements continued, with Ripple still actively involved.

On June 1, around 11:14 p.m. (UTC), Ripple sent 50 million XRP from “Ripple 39” to an unknown wallet, tagged “rGBvE…9aBk2.” The same source address, Ripple 39, sent 40 million XRP each to two unknown wallets: “rHVjf…QsZW7” and “rDK26…ziAee.” These transactions bring Ripple 39’s total transfer for June 2025 to 130 million XRP.

Overall, Ripple has moved 630 million XRP already this month, with 470 million of these tokens locked in escrow. In the meantime, the company has not released the usual 1 billion XRP from escrow for June 2025.

Will You Be Able to Afford 10,000 XRP in 2030, Here Are Details

XRP price predictions from AI chatbots Grok, ChatGPT, and Google Gemini indicate whether an average salary earner can afford 10,000 XRP by 2030.

With the broader crypto market witnessing massive growth, so do the prospects of some investors getting priced out. An asset that has recently joined this uptrend is XRP, which has seen a significant uptick in price and interest since November 2024.

With its value currently standing at $2.16, the cost of purchasing 10,000 XRP sits at $21,600. Notably, for someone earning an average annual salary of $48,000 in gross income, this amount is still within reach, just enough to make such a purchase twice over, assuming no deductions for living expenses.

Can You Afford 10,000 XRP Tokens by 2030?

However, if XRP continues its upward trajectory, such affordability could become a thing of the past. For context, back in November 2024, XRP was trading for just $0.50, meaning that the same $48,000 annual salary would have enabled an investor to buy 10,000 XRP not just twice, but nine times over.

This massive change shows how the token’s growth could effectively price the average investor out. Notably, this leads to an important question: how long will such average income earners be able to accumulate XRP at scale?

To answer this, we contacted multiple AI chatbots and crypto platforms to obtain hypothetical bullish predictions for XRP’s price by 2030. The goal was to assess how much 10,000 XRP might cost five years from now and whether an average salary earner could still afford such an investment.

Google Gemini and ChatGPT Respond

Notably, Google’s AI model, Gemini, presented a bullish projection of $15 for XRP by 2030. It based this forecast on several potential developments, including greater institutional adoption of Ripple’s payment solutions, regulatory improvements, and expanding use cases for the XRP Ledger.

If XRP hits this $15 mark, 10,000 XRP would cost $150,000. Clearly, this is over three times the $48,000 salary benchmark, making it financially impossible for someone on such an income to afford that quantity of XRP without supplemental capital or multiple years of savings.

Meanwhile, OpenAI’s ChatGPT projected a slightly less bullish estimate of $12 by 2030. According to the chatbot, this figure is due to XRP’s potential to establish itself in the global financial infrastructure, especially if Ripple’s cross-border technology gains institutional traction and regulatory hurdles are reduced.

At this rate, 10,000 XRP would be worth $120,000. Again, this would place the tokens well beyond the reach of someone earning $48,000 a year, barring any extraordinary financial planning or asset appreciation elsewhere.

Grok Responds

Grok, the AI platform from xAI, presented the least bullish prediction, estimating a 2030 price of $5.50 for XRP. This price point comes from expectations of steady institutional adoption, a favorable regulatory environment, and consistent technological growth.

If Grok’s projection materializes, 10,000 XRP will amount to $55,000. While this is slightly more than the average annual income of $48,000, it’s not too far out of reach, especially for dedicated savers or those willing to make partial purchases over time.

Bullish XRP Projections from Changelly and Telegaon

On the other hand, some crypto analysis platforms went further with their bullish forecasts. Experts at Changelly believe XRP could reach a minimum price of $20.79 by the end of 2030.

At that rate, 10,000 XRP would cost over $207,900, making such an acquisition virtually impossible for an average earner within a single year.

However, analysts at Telegaon are even more optimistic, predicting a minimum XRP price of $36.80 by 2030. This would drive the cost of 10,000 XRP to a whopping $368,000, more than seven times the average gross annual income under review.

From this trend, there is the potential for average retail investors to be priced out of major crypto assets like XRP if current growth trajectories continue.

Analysts like Edoardo Farina are already voicing warnings about such a scenario. Amid the gradual price uptick, these commentators advocate for an accumulation strategy now, while tokens like XRP remain relatively affordable.

XRP Forecast: Pundit Predicts Where XRP Could Be Headed by June

Crypto commentator Remi Relife has issued a daring price prediction for XRP, suggesting it could trade in this range as early as June or July.

For context, XRP is currently just $2.15. Reaching $75 would require a staggering 3,388% increase. According to Remi, this dramatic outlook is grounded in what he calls the end of the “delay era” and a convergence of bullish developments expected this summer.

Remi emphasized that his forecast combines technical analysis, personal research, and what he describes as “common sense.” He cites Fibonacci levels, historical trends, and the timing of key events aligning in mid-2025 as evidence that XRP is on the verge of a powerful breakout.

While many have questioned the credibility of such lofty targets, Remi doubled down on his prediction, stating that whether it happens in June or July, those numbers are “coming at 10,000,000%.”

“Delay Era Is Over”: June and July as Turning Points

Remi claims that a series of institutional and regulatory delays are finally nearing resolution. Among the events he expects to serve as catalysts in June:

  • Launch of X-Payments
  • Announcement of the Genius Act (stablecoin regulation)
  • Resolution of the SEC case
  • Introduction of XRP-related ETFs

He ties these to broader financial transitions like the implementation of the ISO 20022 standard and the possible resurgence of institutional FOMO in Q3. He suggested that July and August could usher in a full-scale bull run for XRP and select crypto assets.

Interestingly, Remi noted that June is the “Month of the Sacred Heart of Jesus,” implying the timing is no coincidence.

Notably, other market analysts, such as Martin Hiesboeck, Head of Research at Uphold, also believe June could be a pivotal month for XRP. Hiesboeck cites several upcoming developments, including the launch of a spot ETF, the Federal Reserve’s interest rate decision, and the XRP Ledger APEX Summit.

At this summit, many expect Ripple to unveil major XRPL updates in Singapore, potentially including AI integration, DeFi expansion, and tokenized asset support. They see all of these factors as significant price catalysts.

XRP ETFs Alone Could Push Price to $20–$50

Meanwhile, one of Remi’s most controversial claims is that the launch of XRP ETFs alone could drive the price up to $50.

He speculated that each ETF may hold 20 XRP per share, potentially triggering a massive supply shock. Remi argues that dwindling XRP supplies on retail and OTC markets could be overwhelmed if institutional demand surges.

“There’s not much XRP left to begin with,” he said. “The big boys will come to the exchanges for your XRP.”

Take Your XRP Off Exchanges

As a word of caution, Remi advises holders to self-custody their XRP. He noted that during previous bull runs, exchanges have often struggled to process withdrawals due to liquidity crunches. He recommends explicitly cold storage options such as Ledger or Tangem wallets.

While many XRP holders embraced Remi’s passionate forecast, others urge caution, noting the speculative nature of such high price targets and the aggressive timeline.

In the meantime, XRP continues to trade below its all-time high, unchallenged for over seven years.

$10,000 in Shiba Inu: Here’s How It Could Turn Into $500K or Even $1M

0

An investment of $10,000 in Shiba Inu today could balloon into $500,000 or $1 million if SHIB’s price rallies to unprecedented levels.

The crypto market has a history of transforming meager investments into life-changing gains. Such incidents occurred during the 2020/2021 bull market when the prices of major cryptocurrencies spiked to all-time highs.

Shiba Inu’s Success Story

Interestingly, Shiba Inu is often cited as one of the standout success stories of the 2020–2021 bull market. This is due to its incredible performance that changed the fortunes of early investors.

Last year, an employer recounted how one of his employees, a truck driver with kids, retired early after his initial investment of $650 in SHIB rose to $1.7 million within a year. It bears mentioning that this incident occurred during the 2020/2021 bull market.

Although it has been four years since Shiba Inu achieved this milestone, several investors still believe in SHIB’s prospects. Consequently, they anticipate a scenario where SHIB replicates its 2021 performance and provides life-changing gains to early investors.

Roadmap to Transform $10K SHIB Investment to $500K or $1M

Amid this optimism, we provided a roadmap of how a modest $10,000 investment in SHIB could grow to $500,000 or even $1 million. For a $10,000 investment to balloon into $500,000 or $1 million, it would need to appreciate by 4,900% or 9,900%, respectively.

In the meantime, Shiba Inu is currently trading at $0.00001252 per token. It has experienced a decline of 13.02% over the past seven days, largely due to the recent downturn across the broader cryptocurrency market.

However, the recent decline presents investors with an opportunity to purchase more tokens at discounted prices. A $10,000 investment in Shiba Inu today equates to 798,722,044 (798.72 million) SHIB at the current price of $0.00001252.

For this 798.72 million SHIB portfolio to be worth $500,000 or $1 million, Shiba Inu must trade at $0.000626 or $0.001252 per token, respectively. Therefore, a $10,000 investment in Shiba Inu today would be worth $500,000 if SHIB rises to $0.000626 or $1 million if it skyrockets to $0.001252.

Prediction for SHIB’s Surge to $0.000626 or $0.001252

Clinching the $0.000626 or $0.001252 targets demands hefty surges of 4,900% or 9,900% from the current price.

At $0.000626, Shiba Inu’s valuation would rally from $7.38 billion to $368.87 billion, assuming its circulating supply of 589.25 trillion tokens remains unchanged. Notably, Shiba Inu’s market cap would also increase to $737.74 billion if the price hits $0.001252 under the same condition.

Despite the massive growth rates required for these predictions to materialize, several analysts believe they are realistic.

For instance, analysts affiliated with crypto trading platform Changelly predict that SHIB will spike to the $0.000626 target by July 2034. However, they suggest that the $0.001252 forecast might play out five years later, specifically by 2039.

On the other hand, popular prediction platform Telegaon predicts that SHIB will hit the $0.000626 target by 2030. It also expects SHIB to achieve the $0.001252 price milestone by 2035.

While these forecasts may seem bullish and enticing, caution is still warranted due to the volatile nature of cryptocurrencies.

Here’s Price of 1 XRP If Total Crypto Market Cap Reaches $35 Trillion

XRP price will climb to a new two-digit peak if the asset maintains its market dominance when the global crypto market cap hits $35 trillion.

The crypto is on a strong upward trend, with the total market cap currently sitting at $3.27 trillion. Bitcoin continues to dominate the space, holding a massive 63.1% share, with a market cap of $2.049 trillion and a single Bitcoin trading at around $104,566.

Possible XRP Price if Global Crypto Market Hits $35T

As the crypto market gains more attention in the U.S., experts are starting to make bold predictions about where things might go from here. One of these forecasts comes from market analyst Captain Toblerone, who believes the crypto market could grow massively during this bull run.

In particular, he predicts the total market cap could jump to $35 trillion by 2026, which would mark a 929% increase from where it is now. If that happens, it could have a huge impact on the prices of major cryptocurrencies, including XRP.

In his breakdown, Captain Toblerone suggests that if the market reaches $35 trillion, XRP could have a market cap of around $1.24982 trillion. Based on a circulating supply of 56.81 billion XRP, that would put the price of a single XRP at $22.

However, this scenario assumes XRP’s share of the market drops to 3.57%, which is actually lower than its current 4.1% market dominance.

At the projected $35 trillion global crypto cap, if XRP keeps its current share of the market, without gaining or losing ground, its market cap would instead hit $1.435 trillion. That pushes the XRP price up to about $25.26, higher than the $22 figure.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, XRP reached a high point in market dominance at 5.58%. If it returns to that level while the overall market cap hits $35 trillion, the XRP price could soar. In that case, its market cap would climb to roughly $2.04 trillion, sending the price of a single XRP to about $36.

Other market analysts have also projected the XRP price to reach the $22 to $36 range. For one, last November, market commentator Oscar Ramos insisted that an XRP rally to $22 is achievable. Also, in August 2024, analyst Dark Defender predicted XRP to reach $36.

Projections for Other Assets

Notably, Captain Toblerone also provided estimates for other major coins under this $35 trillion market scenario. For instance, he suggests Bitcoin could climb to $300,000, giving it a market cap of $5.928 trillion and a reduced 16.94% dominance.

Ethereum (ETH) might reach $30,000, with a $3.609 trillion valuation. Solana (SOL) could jump to $7,500, while BNB may rise to $5,977.11, and Cardano (ADA) could hit $11.32.

Other coins like TRON (TRX), Avalanche (AVAX), Dogecoin (DOGE), and Chainlink (LINK) also see major potential gains, with projected prices of $2.02, $285.82, $1.97, and $191.23, respectively.

Angel Investor Says XRP Doesn’t Need to Hit $10,000 to Change Your Life

The real value of XRP is not in its price but in its return on investment and utility, according to Armando Pantoja, an angel investor and crypto influencer.

He emphasized that XRP does not need to reach $10,000 to deliver meaningful returns for holders. Pantoja expressed this perspective in a recent video, addressing the common frustration among XRP holders about the token’s lack of dramatic price movement.

He noted that many retail investors are ready to give up, feeling that XRP is stagnant while other cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, continue to break records. However, Pantoja argues that this view misses the bigger picture.

Notably, Bitcoin set a new all-time high near $112,000 this month. In contrast, XRP remained around $2.30, failing to benefit from Bitcoin’s momentum. While this divergence has been a hot topic, Pantoja believes the discussion often overlooks the true value proposition.

Price Doesn’t Equal Potential

Instead of focusing solely on price, Pantoja emphasizes the importance of return on investment (ROI). He noted that while XRP trades below $3, its growth potential should be assessed relative to its cost of entry.

For example, tripling your investment in Bitcoin would require the asset to surpass $300,000. In contrast, XRP would only need to rise to just under $8 to deliver the same ROI.

He also points out that XRP’s market cap is only about 7% of Bitcoin’s, making significant percentage gains more feasible.

Pantoja believes that investors often overestimate the importance of absolute price targets and underestimate the ability of smaller-cap assets to deliver outsized returns.

Another argument XRP proponents use to counter the frustration surrounding XRP’s stagnation is its long-term performance. Notably, Bitcoin is up 52% over the past year, relative to its current price of $103,800.

Meanwhile, XRP, trading at $2.13, has seen a more impressive 312% gain over the same period.

XRP Is for Utility, Not Hype

Pantoja also commented on XRP’s core value proposition. He noted that its real-world utility sets XRP apart from many other cryptocurrencies.

XRP offers fast, low-cost international transactions. It can settle payments in under five seconds and process up to 1,500 transactions per second. It also offers performance metrics that rival traditional financial systems like SWIFT.

This infrastructure-focused approach positions XRP as a leading candidate for integration into future global payment systems, especially as financial institutions seek to modernize and streamline cross-border transactions, Pantoja noted.

At the same time, he encourages investors to shift their attention away from daily price charts and focus instead on long-term fundamentals. He stressed that XRP doesn’t need to hit $10,000 or even $100 to significantly impact someone’s financial future. What matters more is understanding the technology and potential for real-world adoption.

Bitcoin and XRP Aren’t Rivals

Rather than viewing XRP and Bitcoin as competing assets, Pantoja encourages investors to see them as complementary. Bitcoin serves as a store of value, akin to digital gold, while XRP is designed for utility and high-speed, real-world payments. Each has a distinct role in the evolving crypto ecosystem.

For informed investors, the question isn’t which asset is better. Instead, it is about how much of their portfolio should be allocated to each, based on their risk profile and investment goals.
