Shiba Inu Bulls Gear Up for Possible Breakout to $0.00002

As meme coins prepare for a bullish comeback, Shiba Inu marks a trendline breakout. Will this reversal drive the SHIB price to $0.000020?

Shiba Inu recently lost its position in the crypto market to Litecoin, which has been on a bullish trend. While the second biggest meme coin currently holds a market cap of $9.61 billion, it trades at a market price of $0.00001631.

With a 24-hour recovery of 2.82%, the meme coin has turned its 7-day return into a positive 6.01%. Will this new recovery in Shiba Inu result in a sharp parabolic rise? Let’s find out.

Shiba Inu Price Breaks Key Resistance Trendline

On the 4-hour price chart, Shiba Inu’s recovery has broken through a long-standing descending trendline. Currently, Shiba Inu’s price is testing the 23.60% Fibonacci level at $0.00001619.

With the trendline breakout, Shiba Inu is also forming a potential inverted head and shoulders pattern. This pattern is generally considered a highly bullish indicator for a reversal rally.

Shiba Inu Price Chart
Shiba Inu Price Chart

The neckline of the bullish pattern sits at $0.00001680, slightly above the 23.60% Fibonacci level. Amid the recovery, the DMI indicator has shown a positive crossover between the VI lines, with a minor uptick in the sloping ADX indicator.

As the indicators hint at the potential for a bullish trend restart, an increase in the ADX line would signal a rise in momentum. As the meme coin approaches the neckline, the upper Bollinger Band will act as a resistance.

While Shiba Inu holds above the 20-day SMA and shows a positive trend in the lower Bollinger Band, the chances of an uptrend continuation are significantly higher. This is because the rising lower Bollinger Band compresses the trend, while the flat upper Bollinger Band indicates consolidation before a potential breakout.

Thus, the increased pressure suggests a bullish breakout may be on the horizon.

Whale Holdings and Market Impact

Amid the chances of a bullish breakout, Shiba Inu holdings have seen a major shift since the start of 2025.

The wallets with 100 billion to 1 trillion SHIB holdings band saw a 1.92% decline, while the 1 trillion to 10 trillion SHIB band dropped by 0.90%. The 10 billion to 100 billion SHIB holding band also witnessed a 0.42% decline.

Shiba Inu Balance By Holding

Surprisingly, the 10 trillion to 100 trillion SHIB band increased by 3.79%, indicating a strong accumulation trend among larger SHIB holders. This suggests that whales have slightly reduced their holdings. However, the diamond hands of more enormous whales hint at a potential bounce back.

Shiba Inu Price Targets: Can SHIB Reach $0.000020?

As whales are likely to increase their bets on Shiba Inu, the price action hints at a potential breakout rally. As per the Fibonacci levels, the inverted head and shoulder breakout rally will likely reach the 61.80% Fibonacci level at the $0.000020 psychological mark.

This accounts for an upside potential of nearly 25%. On the flip side, the crucial support for Shiba Inu remains the lower Bollinger band at $0.00001524 and the $0.00001368 support level.

Trader Nets $1M as Elon Musk’s Latest Name Swap Sends HARRYBOLZ Token Soaring

0

Elon Musk’s recent name change on X (formerly Twitter) has triggered another crypto market reaction.

On Tuesday, the billionaire entrepreneur switched his display name to “Harry Bōlz,” marking the second time he has used this alias. His unexpected online activities have previously influenced digital assets, and this instance appears to follow the same pattern.

HARRYBOLZ Spike Following Musk’s Change

Shortly after Musk altered his display name, an obscure digital asset with the same title saw an immediate price surge. Lookonchain, a smart money tracker on X, shared data showing that HARRYBOLZ spiked to $0.025 following the update.

The movement reflects a recurring trend where Musk’s social media actions correlate with sudden market reactions in the crypto space.

Meanwhile, a trader identified as “LeBron,” known for past profitable trades on tokens like MELANIA and TRUMP, capitalized on the latest development. The wallet initially acquired 128.8 million HARRYBOLZ for 25 SOL ($4,807) four days before Musk’s name change.

The trader later sold 109.8 million HARRYBOLZ for 3,649 $SOL ($737,000), securing a total profit of approximately $1 million. He also retained 18.97 million HARRYBOLZ valued at $277,000 at the time of Lookonchain’s report.

For context, the name “Harry Bōlz” humorously plays on the slang phrase “hairy balls,” incorporating a cheeky twist in its wording.

Trader’s Profitable History in Meme Tokens

The same wallet previously made significant profits on two politically themed digital assets. Data indicates that the address benefited from a 1,000% increase in MELANIA, yielding a realized profit of $8.9 million. Meanwhile, the same wallet saw a 190% upside from TRUMP, resulting in a $3.2 million gain.

Musk has a history of indirectly influencing the crypto market through spontaneous online activity. His previous display name change in December 2024 to “Kekius Maximus,” a reference to internet meme culture, sparked similar reactions.

That incident led to the creation of numerous digital assets, with KEKIUS being the most notable. The token skyrocketed to a $400 million market cap within a short period.

Past Market Reaction to Musk’s Alias

The brief switch to Kekius Maximus fueled speculative trading. One investor turned $66 into $3.05 million in just 18 days, reflecting a 45,906x return.

The trader initially acquired 10.17 million KEKIUS tokens for 0.017 $ETH ($66) and later sold 2.81 million tokens for 60.3 $ETH ($201,000), leaving 7.37 million tokens valued at $2.85 million.

Musk has not provided an explanation for his latest display name changes or his updated profile pictures.

Investors Favor Bitcoin Over Altcoins as Shifting Macro Winds Trigger Risk Aversion

0

Despite the prevailing narrative that the Bitcoin and the broader crypto market is in a bull run, recent data suggests investors are becoming increasingly risk-averse.

In an X post on Tuesday, February 11, crypto analytics platform Glassnode shared data highlighting that Bitcoin‘s market cap hit a local peak of $2.1 trillion on January 21, while altcoins, excluding Ethereum and stablecoins, saw their peak well over a month before at $1.03 trillion on December 8.

At the same time, the firm noted that Bitcoin’s market cap has since dropped 8.2%, while the market caps of these altcoins have declined by a staggering 29.8%.

Glassnode noted that the contrast showed “a shift in capital preferences.”

Indeed, the data indicates risk aversion and a flight to relative stability in Bitcoin, which is more established and historically less volatile than altcoins.

The shift comes amid rapidly changing macroeconomic conditions.

For one, before mid-December 2024, investors were anticipating a rapid loosening of monetary policy in 2025, hoping that some excess capital would bolster the rally among crypto assets.

These hopes were, however, dashed. In December 2024, the U.S. Federal Reserve projected fewer than-expected rate cuts for 2025, arguing that inflation continues to linger.

The situation has been further complicated by trade war concerns, which have risen amid President Donald Trump’s largely unexpected barrage of tariffs in recent weeks.

Still, most analysts remain optimistic that the crypto bull market is far from over. One reason for this is the Trump administration’s significantly pro-crypto leanings.

From looming regulatory overhauls to talks of a strategic crypto stockpile or Bitcoin reserve, the administration seems set to support the industry like none before it, sparking hopes of long-term positive market effects.

As observers await these effects, the market continues to idle, with Bitcoin trading in a tight range just below the $100,000 price point.

Stablecoin Market Adds Nearly $17B in 2025: Here’s Why This Can Be Bullish for Bitcoin and Crypto

0

The stablecoin market has grown in valuation recently, and this could be bullish for Bitcoin and other risk assets.

The stablecoin market has expanded significantly in 2025, adding about $16.97 billion since the start of the year, according to blockchain analytics platform Glassnode.

The firm revealed that the total stablecoin circulating supply has risen from about $194.2 billion to around $211.2 billion this year. Notably, this growth suggests increasing liquidity in the crypto market.

Stablecoin Growth Trends in 2025

However, Glassnode noted that stablecoin issuance has not been uniform throughout the year. In November and December 2024, the market grew by roughly $450 million every day.

Nonetheless, the pace slowed in January 2025, averaging $400 million per day. This month, growth picked up again, with an average daily increase of $541 million.

Mid-January saw a notable spike, as the seven-day average stablecoin issuance moved above the 30-day simple moving average (SMA). This indicated renewed short-term demand, signaling that capital is flowing back into crypto.

Stablecoin Circulating Supply Glassnode
Stablecoin Circulating Supply | Glassnode

For context, several large stablecoin issuances have occurred over the past week alone. On Feb. 4, blockchain tracking platform Whale Alert reported that Tether minted 1 billion USDT in a single transaction.

Additionally, Circle, the issuer of USDC, minted 750 million USDC across three separate instances on Feb. 4, 6, and 7, with each issuance totaling 250 million USDC. Further, in total, Circle has created 1.057 billion USDC in February alone. Paxos, the issuer of PYUSD, also added 65 million PYUSD to the supply this month.

USDT Dominates the Stablecoin Market Despite MiCA Challenges

Notably, the stablecoin market capitalization has now grown to $230 billion, according to CoinMarketCap. Tether continues to lead, with a market cap of $141.9 billion, despite facing regulatory issues under the European Union’s MiCA framework, which has led to delistings.

USDC follows with a market capitalization of $56.2 billion. Ethena USDe (USDe) ranks third with $6 billion, while Dai (DAI) holds the fourth position with $5.3 billion.

Why Stablecoin Growth Can Be Bullish for Bitcoin and Crypto

The increasing stablecoin supply is often a precursor to higher buying pressure in the crypto market. When investors hold more stablecoins, they usually position themselves to buy risk assets, which can drive prices higher.

Meanwhile, Santiment recently reported that crypto traders had shifted their attention toward Bitcoin and Layer-1 blockchains, such as Cardano, Toncoin, Solana, and Ethereum.

These assets collectively account for 44.2% of discussions in the crypto community. Meanwhile, interest in meme coins like Dogecoin, Shiba Inu, and Pepe has declined.

According to Santiment, this change leads to a more stable market environment. Meme coins typically thrive on speculative hype, but when the focus moves to Bitcoin and Layer 1 networks, it suggests a more mature and sustainable growth phase.

Historically, excessive speculation in meme coins has preceded market corrections. In contrast, rising interest in core blockchain infrastructure often points to a stronger foundation for long-term growth.

Hong Kong Confirms Immigrants Can Use Bitcoin and Ethereum to Prove Net Worth for Investment Visa

0

Hong Kong now allows wealthy immigrants to prove their net worth using Bitcoin and Ethereum.

A spokesperson for Invest Hong Kong (InvestHK) confirmed this development in a recent statement. According to the spokesperson, wealthy individuals can use crypto holdings, like Bitcoin and Ethereum, when applying for a visa under the Capital Investment Entrant Scheme (CIES).

Under this initiative, applicants must show a minimum net worth of HK$30 million ($3.8 million) and demonstrate their willingness to invest the same amount in Hong Kong within six months.

Before now, the CIES program only accepted traditional financial instruments, such as stocks and bonds, as proof of net worth. However, a recent update now allows immigrants to use their crypto holdings, including Bitcoin and Ethereum, as proof of net worth for investment visa applications.

Recent Adoptions and Requirements

Interestingly, some migrants are already using their crypto holdings to prove their net worth under the CIES program.

Earlier this month, one investor met the CIES threshold using Ethereum. Similarly, another individual used Bitcoin in October 2024 to prove their net worth while applying for an investment visa in Hong Kong.

Meanwhile, investors using crypto holdings must adhere to strict procedures to ensure compliance. A certified public accountant must assess and issue a valuation report for the crypto assets held in a regulated exchange or cold storage.

Afterward, the migrants must invest another $3.8 million in Hong Kong’s permissible assets within six months.

According to an InvestHK spokesperson, Hong Kong does not consider cryptos permissible assets. Therefore, applicants would have to use any of the accepted payment methods for this investment.

Commenting on the development, David Cameron, the Managing Partner of David Cameron Law Firm, disclosed that more individuals have shown significant interest in the CIES program since its launch.

As of January, 750 applications were under review, with some of these applicants expected to prove their net worth using cryptos.

Growing Acceptance of Cryptos in Hong Kong

Meanwhile, Hong Kong has remained a leader in state adoption of digital currencies and blockchain technology.

Like the United States, Hong Kong has also approved multiple spot Bitcoin and Ethereum exchange-traded funds (ETFs). The region has also issued licenses to nine crypto trading platforms, with four exchanges receiving greenlight in December 2024.

Earlier this month, Hong Kong legislator Johnny Ng Kit-chong urged the region to follow the United States to evaluate the possible creation of a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve (SBR) and other pro-friendly crypto regulations.

Expert Says Market Cap Does Not Matter for XRP, Sets Bold $25 Price Target

0

Market commentator Armando Pantoja shares his insights on the “true” value of XRP and why the traditional market cap calculation doesn’t apply.

In a tweet, Pantoja discussed why XRP’s potential isn’t limited by market cap. According to him, many people often misunderstand this concept in the crypto scene. He argued that XRP holds a unique position, making the traditional market cap calculation inapplicable to it.

XRP Unique Position

Pantoja first highlighted that XRP’s design for high-speed transactions, settling in just 3 to 5 seconds, makes it uniquely capable of handling vast volumes. He speculated that, unlike traditional assets, one XRP token could be reused multiple times a day. In his view, this enables daily transactions worth trillions without requiring a trillion-dollar market cap.

Pantoja envisions a future where XRP plays a central role in a tokenized global economy valued at one to two quadrillion dollars. He suggested that even if XRP were to handle just 10% of this market, it would still support trillions of dollars in daily settlements, raising its price to $10,000 or more.

“XRP is not just another cryptocurrency. It’s a game changer in global finance. That’s why the concept of market cap as a limiting factor does not apply,” Pantoja said.

XRP Limited Supply and Growing Demand

Another key point Pantoja emphasized is XRP’s circulating supply, which is limited to 99 billion tokens. He believes the price must be high enough for global liquidity to handle massive volumes as demand rises.

With hopes for adoption by institutions, CBDCs, and governments, he speculated that the price must reflect its utility in facilitating efficient, cross-border transactions—rather than adhering to a traditional market cap calculation.

Essentially, pundits like Pantoja use this theory to justify why $10,000 per token is “realistic” for XRP, even though such a price would imply a market cap of around $1 quadrillion.

According to Pantoja, the price of XRP, like oil or gold, will ultimately be determined by demand, not an arbitrary cap—especially as demand grows.

Meanwhile, Pantoja is not expecting XRP to reach $10,000 anytime soon. For the present bull cycle, he has projected a range between $8 and $25 for XRP. Specifically, he expects XRP to reach this level by at most 2026.

Notably, with XRP’s price currently at $2.48, reaching $25 would require a growth of 908%.

Global Adoption and XRP’s Future Growth

Looking ahead, Pantoja points out that the biggest growth for XRP will come from outside the United States, particularly in regions like Asia.

He noted that banks in these regions are actively seeking cheaper and more efficient ways to move money, and XRP provides the ideal solution.

Ripple has already forged key partnerships with banks in Asia, positioning XRP for widespread adoption. As more banks globally integrate XRP into their systems, proponents expect XRP’s price to soar into the double-digit range in the near future.

Bitwise: If Governments Want Bitcoin, They’ll Have to Buy from Individuals Willing to Sell

0

Bitwise highlights the ownership dynamic around Bitcoin, showing the dominance of individual investors.

With an endless stream of reports of institutional buys from exchange-traded funds and corporations like MicroStrategy in recent months, it is hard to blame market participants for increasingly believing that Bitcoin is becoming an institutionally controlled asset.

However, this could not be further from the truth, per data recently highlighted by Bitwise.

Bitcoin Price in the Hands of Individuals

Bitwise, a $5 billion asset manager, has recently highlighted Bitcoin’s ownership dynamic.

In an X post on Monday, February 10, Bitwise shared an excerpt of its Q4 2024 crypto market report showing that as of December 31, 2024, individuals were by far the largest holders of BTC, with 69.4% of the supply, compared to only 6.1% by investment funds, 4.4% by businesses, and 1.4% by governments.

Stressing the importance of these numbers, the asset manager wrote:

“If companies and governments want to buy bitcoin, they’ll largely have to buy it from individuals who are willing to sell.”

This statement is more impactful, considering that only about 5.7% of the supply, or about 1.2 million coins, is left to mine.

The data adds more nuance to Bitcoin’s scarcity narrative, especially as demand grows among institutions and nation-states.

Meanwhile, from the report, Bitcoin ETFs and other investment products have gobbled up 6.1% of the total supply, now holding more than businesses. Further, Satoshi holds about 4.6% of the supply, while 7.5% are estimated to be lost.

Warburg Serres Investments Managing Partner Tom Serres highlighted that the supply dynamic raises questions about how corporate and government treasuries seeking to build reserves will source the assets.

Meanwhile, as Bitwise CEO Hunter Horsley highlighted, the data shows that the price of Bitcoin is largely in the hands of the individuals who hold it.

Unsurprisingly, the data has triggered impassioned calls to “hodl,” a crypto slang for holding onto one’s tokens regardless of the market condition, as some anticipate that a supply shock will soon send the asset’s price soaring.

FOX Business Journalist Says Federal Reserve Slowly Warming up to Bitcoin and Crypto

0

The United States Federal Reserve System could be warming up to bitcoin and cryptocurrencies amid a new wave of adoption sweeping the country.

Donald Trump is slowly fulfilling his promises to make America the crypto capital of the world. Bitcoin and other cryptos are becoming a household name in the United States, recently making their way into the heart of the nation’s central bank.

Recently, FOX Business journalist Eleanor Terrett highlighted a sentiment shift in the Federal Reserve, specifically within the board of governors. The prominent reporter pointed to a recent speech by Fed governors Michelle Bowman and Christopher Waller.

Governors Issue Pro-Crypto Speech

At the Wisconsin Bankers Association Bank Executive Conference on February 7, both governors issued pro-crypto speeches, expressing openness towards adopting the nascent industry.

For instance, Bowman critiqued the past handling of technological innovations like cryptocurrencies. The Republican governor emphasized the need to create a clear regulatory framework to encourage the sector rather than stifle its development.

She also stressed the importance of not discouraging new technologies using regulatory persuasion, stating that overplaying caution could threaten innovations that would propel the banking sector forward in the long term.

Governor Waller gave a similar speech on the future of cryptocurrencies, mentioning the importance of stablecoins. He stated that stablecoin adoption would strengthen the dollar’s use in the global market and aid its course to solidify its position as the world reserve currency.

Why This Is Important

Meanwhile, Terrett stated that the two governors’ speeches indicate a shifting perception in the Fed. Notably, the duo once voted for policies discouraging banks from interacting with the crypto industry.

Furthermore, Bowman and Waller are top contenders to replace Federal Reserve Vice Chair for Supervision Michael Barr. The position is crucial within the central bank as it oversees regulation and how the Fed interacts with financial institutions and digital asset firms.

As a result, a pro-Bitcoin vice chair will further ensure a smoother relationship between banks and the crypto sector. Recall that Fed chair Jerome Powell earlier stated that banks can service the digital asset industry if they keep to the rules.

XRP to New Highs, How Ripple’s Tokenization Strategy Could Fuel Growth

0

A leading figure in the crypto space has outlined how the tokenization strategy from Ripple could push XRP to a new all-time high.

In a detailed post on X, Austin King, co-founder of Omni Network, discussed how the XRP Ledger (XRPL) can capitalize on real-world asset (RWA) tokenization to drive long-term growth.

Recall that Ripple CTO David Schwartz suggested in 2023 that the firm was pivoting to RWA tokenization, highlighting their desire to expand into the industry. Notably, Ripple acquired custody and tokenization firm Metaco in May 2023 to pursue this vision.

Interestingly, King’s recent disclosure suggests that combining Ripple’s institutional partnerships with blockchain-driven liquidity expansion could bolster XRP’s utility and demand, pushing it to a new ATH.

Tokenization is a Multi-Trillion-Dollar Opportunity

According to King, the tokenization potential within XRPL is massive, reaching into the trillions. However, he believes many people overlook how this could occur.

He explained that the XRP Ledger, despite being the third-largest crypto network, has yet to fully integrate into the decentralized finance (DeFi) space. Unlike Ripple’s success in onboarding financial institutions, there hasn’t been a dedicated effort to expand XRPL assets across multiple blockchain networks.

King’s Omni Network wants to fill this gap by linking XRPL’s tokenized assets to a broader on-chain economy. King revealed that RLUSD, Ripple’s stablecoin, has already added over $38 billion in liquidity across multiple networks on devnet.

He also pointed to Ondo Finance’s move to bring tokenized U.S. Treasury bills onto XRPL, a development expected to create a ripple effect across financial markets. Recall that last month, Ondo Finance brought its tokenized Treasury fund to the XRPL.

The Two-Part Strategy to Elevate XRP

King described a feedback loop that could bolster adoption in two parts. First, Ripple is helping banks tokenize assets like bonds and securities onto XRPL. Then, Omni Network ensures those tokenized assets flow across various blockchain ecosystems, increasing their accessibility.

Notably, the model incentivizes more institutions to tokenize assets on XRPL, making XRP a major asset in the growing RWA market. King believes XRP’s role will expand as traditional finance integrates more blockchain-based assets. This is capable of pushing XRP price to greater heights.

Recent XRPL Developments Around Tokenization

Ripple is actively pursuing the tokenization industry. In June 2024, the company deepened its collaboration with Archax. This partnership looks to tokenize hundreds of millions of dollars in RWAs on the XRPL. Together, they launched the UK’s first tokenized money market fund on the XRPL last November.

In September 2024, Ripple introduced Multi-Purpose Tokens (MPTs), a new standard allowing easy tokenization of financial instruments like Treasury Bills. This will help the XRPL accommodate complex financial assets, making it attractive for institutions.

Shiba Inu Set for “Massive Reversal” With 167% Upside Potential: Analyst

0

Rose Premium Signals asserts that Shiba Inu could be set for a “massive reversal” after recent downward momentum.

Over the past few weeks, the crypto market has taken a significant beating amid macroeconomic uncertainty, and leading doggy-themed meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB) has not been spared. The token has tanked over 65% from December 2024 highs of $0.00003343 to, at one point, trade as low as $0.00001160 in February 2025.

Amid the rout, however, one prominent crypto analysis group has suggested that a rebound is in sight.

Shiba Inu “Massive Reversal” Incoming?

Rose Premium Signals has asserted that Shiba Inu could be set for a “massive reversal” after recent downward momentum.

The crypto analysis platform shared this view in a recent X post highlighting that the meme coin had cleanly retested a months-long support zone between $0.000015 and $0.000011. The token had bounced from this zone to its December 2024 high.

Rose Premium Signals also highlighted that the retest of this area could align with a potential breakout from a falling wedge formation, a bullish reversal chart pattern, printed by the meme coin’s weeks-long decline.

The analysis platform asserted that the potential reversal could take SHIB’s price to highs of $0.00002913, $0.00003612, and 0.00004401, representing gains of 77%, 119%, and 167%, respectively.

Interestingly, the recent prediction comes on the heels of a major development for the meme coin.

UAE Ties

Last week, the project’s ecosystem team disclosed a major partnership with the United Arab Emirates’ Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure to bolster efficiency and sustainability efforts, leveraging Shiba Inu’s Operating System (ShibOS).

Amid these developments, lead developer “Shytoshi Kusama” argues Shiba Inu has outgrown the meme coin classification and has now evolved into a “technology powerhouse.”
