Here’s How SEC Crypto Taskforce Is Working to Bring Clarity to the Industry

0

SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce shares insights into the SEC crypto task force’s operations.

Amid a barrage of enforcement actions coupled with claims of a lack of clear path to compliance, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, especially its recently resigned Chair Gary Gensler, has often been vilified as the crypto industry’s enemy number one.

However, under the pro-crypto Donald Trump administration, all of this looks set to change. For starters, the agency has quickly launched a crypto task force to pursue crypto-specific rules, a clear shift from the previous administration’s stance that decades-old securities rules were sufficient to guide the nascent market.

Now, this same task force has outlined its ongoing efforts, offering market participants a glimpse of what to expect.

Crypto Task Force Priorities Unveiled

SEC Commissioner Hester Peirce, also known as “crypto mom,” spearheading the SEC’s crypto task force, has offered insights into its activities in line with its goal of guiding the creation of clear rules for the industry.

In a statement on Tuesday, February 4, Peirce outlined a long list of issues the tax force is prioritizing to satisfy its mandate.

These priorities include working to clearly define what constitutes a crypto asset security, developing a halfway solution to allow token offerings provided issuers offer certain disclosures, and clarifying how and if lending and staking fit into securities laws.

At the same time, the group is considering amendments to allow new types of crypto exchange-traded funds and potentially allow in-kind redemption for existing products.

With these efforts, Peirce asserts that the task force intends to navigate the SEC out of the regulatory “mess” she accuses the previous administration of creating.

Still, she cautioned that the SEC’s planned shift was not meant to encourage an “anything goes” attitude.

“SEC rules will not let you do whatever you want, whenever you want, however you want. Some of these rules will impose costs and other compliance burdens that some may find irritating, and the Commission will use its enforcement tools when necessary to pursue noncompliance,” she wrote.

Nonetheless, a recent New York Times report suggests that the agency is significantly downsizing its crypto enforcement unit. At least over 50 lawyers and staff members have been reassigned, the report said.

Cardano Network Activity Spikes: Is $0.85 the Next Stop?

Will Cardano (ADA) bounce back as it hits the $0.73 support level for a falling wedge breakout rally?

As the crypto market stands on extremely volatile grounds, altcoins hang at crucial support levels. With the altcoin total market cap hanging at $1.22 trillion, Cardano is taking support near $0.73.

This support level has acted as a critical pivot in the past, making it a key area to watch for potential price action. With a minor slowdown in selling volume, is the ADA price ready for a breakout rally?

Cardano Analysis

In the daily chart, the ADA price trend reveals the downfall in Cardano, testing a crucial local support trendline. The declining trendline converges near the $0.73 support level.

With several lower price projections, the underlying support at a relatively lower level compared to the recent swing high suggests the potential for a reversal.

BITSTAMP:ADAUSD Chart Image by Trojan69420

However, as buyers failed to sustain the momentum, ADA fell by 8.56% last night, creating another bearish engulfing candle. Thus, the pressure over the support trendline has significantly increased.

This signals growing uncertainty among traders, with bearish sentiment outweighing bullish attempts. If buyers step in, a strong reversal could quickly shift the momentum.

Furthermore, the downfall has stretched under the lower Bollinger Band, increasing the chances of a prolonged crash.

Cardano Whales Hesitate To Buyback

As Cardano stands at a crossroads, the altcoin fails to find support from whales. As reported yesterday, ADA Whales offloaded 330 million tokens during the market crash.

However, the whales have yet to buy back their tokens. This lack of whale accumulation adds to the bearish outlook, raising concerns about sustained buying pressure in the near term.

NVT Ratio Signals a Potential Bullish Reversal

Amid the recent downfall, the 90-day adjusted Network Value-to-Transaction (NVT) ratio gives a bullish signal. The NVT ratio has dropped from 5.32 on November 23, 2024, to the current ratio of 1.61, indicating a sharp decline.

This significant drop reveals a surge in transaction activity, hinting at increased adoption and growing on-chain activity within the Cardano network.

Furthermore, the decline in the NVT ratio often serves as a leading indicator of an upcoming price jump, as it reflects that the asset is becoming undervalued relative to its transaction volume.

ADA Price Targets

With a slight increase in the chances of a bullish reversal, Fibonacci levels point to a critical price level near $0.8567. This level marks the 23.6% Fibonacci retracement, which aligns with the local resistance trendline.

The trendline forms a falling wedge pattern with the support trendline, typically signaling a bullish breakout. Thus, a potential recovery could be underway as buyers gradually gain strength.

On the flip side, if ADA closes below $0.73, it will likely test the $0.60 support zone. A break below this level could trigger a sharp decline, signaling a deeper correction phase for ADA.

Bitcoin Stuck at $98K: Can Positive Money Flow Propel BTC to $103K?

With Bitcoin struggling to sustain above the $100k mark, will the surge in ETFs inflow pump  BTC price to $103k?

As the crypto market desperately needs a bullish recovery, Bitcoin aims to reclaim the $100,000 mark for the seventh time in the past few months. Currently, BTC trades at a market price of $97,850, with a pullback of 4.24% over the past seven days.

As Bitcoin struggles to overcome the sudden rise in bearishness, there is a gradual improvement in institutional support, fueling hopes of a new rally in the crypto market.

Bitcoin Price Analysis Signals Recovery Ahead

In the daily chart, BTC’s price showcases a sideways trend between the $90,775 and $108,000 supply zones.

Following the recent crash, BTC bounced back from the 23.6% Fibonacci level near the $94,000 mark. However, the recovery failed to maintain momentum and is now facing lower price rejections near the 38.2% Fibonacci level at $96,000, hovering around the $97,000 level.

Currently trading just below the 50% Fibonacci level at $98,611, the rising money flow hints at a potential recovery. According to the Chaikin Money Flow (CMF) indicator, inflows have significantly improved to 0.11 after dipping into negative territory.

With positive money inflows, Bitcoin’s price will likely recover in the coming days.

Bitcoin ETFs Record $340M Inflow After Market Crash

While price analysis hints at a potential recovery, US-spot Bitcoin ETFs are back on the bullish track. The daily total net inflow on February 4 hit $340.82 million, with none of the ETFs recording an outflow.

As per CoinGlass data, the Bitcoin Long-to-Short Ratio Chart has significantly recovered over the past 24 hours. Yesterday, the ratio remained at 0.9643 and has now recovered to 0.9889 compared to the 0.90 peak on February 1.

The improvement in the derivative market sentiment indicates increased bullish speculation

BTC Price Targets

With rising speculation and growing support for Bitcoin ETFs, the Fibonacci levels suggest upcoming price targets at the 78.6% Fibonacci level and the supply zone near the 100% Fibonacci level.

The key resistance levels are at $103,393 and $107,123. On the downside, the crucial support level for Bitcoin remains at $94,393.

Here’s Why Shiba Inu Can Surge 10x to $0.0001553

0

Shiba Inu has set its sights on defying the latest bearish trend, eyeing a triple-digit surge to unprecedented price highs in the near term.

Analyst Javon Marks confirmed the bullish sentiment shift in the Shiba Inu ecosystem. His recent commentary suggests that the doggy-themed meme coin has maintained a bullish structure despite the recent sideways market trend, insinuating possibilities of an impending price explosion.

Meanwhile, the analysis comes on the heels of growing market uncertainties. After posting an impressive rebound from a six-month price low of $0.00001160 on Monday, developing issues from the United States’ tariff concerns with China sparked a 6% correction yesterday.

However, the second-largest meme coin by market cap has shown promising signs today as it looks to rebound. Marks’ analysis suggests Shiba Inu could see a meteoric upswing to unprecedented highs soon.

Why Shiba Inu’s Next Target is a Near 10x Surge to $0.0001553

In a February 4 post, the market expert cited two factors that would spur a staggering 850% Shiba Inu upsurge. He stated that the bullish events were positive and would contribute immensely to the “longevity and scale” of the upcoming northward drive.

First, Marks pointed to Shiba Inu’s sustained trend above the levels from which it earlier broke out. For context, the prominent meme token broke out from a descending triangle more than two years ago, with a 12% weekly gain to close at $0.00001200 in the third week of January.

Since then, Shiba Inu has continued to trade above the level, even with the recent predominant bearishness. As a result, the cushion indicates that the asset has more upsides.

Furthermore, Marks highlighted Shiba Inu’s massive demand following the recent dip as a bullish event. He noted that whales stepped in during the market downside and accumulated substantial amounts of the asset, shifting the sentiments back to bullish.

Analyst Highlights Path to $0.0001553

With Shiba Inu’s bullish structure still intact, Marks highlighted the asset’s path to $0.0001553. His commentary suggested that the meme coin would surge 397% to its first stop at $0.00008100. Notably, the price mark is just 9% away from its all-time high of $0.00008854.

Then, Shiba Inu will record more upsides from there, completing a targeted 850% upswing to $0.0001553. Notably, the impressive uptrend would take the asset’s market cap to $91.51 billion.

Shiba Inu’s Path to $0.0001553

Meanwhile, Marks is one of many analysts who believe Shiba Inu will cancel one more zero to trade above $0.000100. For perspective, notable analyst Alan Santana asserted that the light-hearted doggy token would hit $0.00011397, citing bullish price conditions.

Also, popular commentator Oscar Ramos predicted a similar price, insisting on a Shiba Inu uptrend to $0.0001700. He argued that the price mark is a realistic target for the asset this year amid a broader market uptrend.

In the meantime, Shiba Inu trades at $0.00001622, up almost 5% in the past week.

Here Are Fresh Updates on Ongoing Evaluation of US National Digital Asset Reserve

0

David Sacks recently appeared at a press conference, discussing President Donald Trump’s directive regarding evaluating a digital asset reserve.

Last month, Trump signed an executive order to create a working group for the digital asset markets. Its role includes researching and assessing the implications of a digital asset reserve.

Sacks Press Conference on Digital Asset Reserve

Sacks, White House AI & Crypto Czar and chairman of the working group, reiterated Trump’s directive during a press conference. According to him, the U.S. President instructed government officials to evaluate the feasibility of a national digital asset reserve.

Interestingly, he mentioned ‘Bitcoin reserve’ instead of ‘digital asset reserve,’ which was highlighted in the executive order. This suggests Sacks is considering Bitcoin as the main asset of the reserve.

During the brief speech, Sacks disclosed that the group is still in its early stages and is awaiting the Senate’s confirmation of other key government officials included in the group.

Recall that the group features heads of several government agencies, including the SEC and CFTC. Currently, both commissions are headed by acting chairs, with the U.S. Senate yet to confirm their respective permanent heads.

He noted that no decision has been made regarding the reserve evaluation, as the structure is currently being set up.

Difference Between Digital Asset Reserve and SWF

Notably, he differentiated the concept of the Bitcoin reserve from that of the sovereign wealth fund (SWF).

“The concept of the Sovereign Wealth Fund is a little bit separate [from the Bitcoin reserve],” Sacks remarked.

While the Bitcoin Reserve is expected to invest and hold in Bitcoin and possibly other crypto assets, the SWF will likely involve broad investment strategies featuring the United States’ vast assets.

Contrary Speculations From Crypto Enthusiasts

Meanwhile, Sacks’ comment deviates from earlier projections from crypto enthusiasts, who speculated on what the Crypto Czar will discuss in his press conference.

In the build-up to the speech, popular crypto insider Andrew AP Abacus predicted that Sacks’ conference would be heavy on Bitcoin and timelines.

He suggested that the Crypto Czar will talk about SWF and Senator Cynthia Lummis’ proposed Bitcoin Act. Lastly, he emphasized that Sacks will not mention XRP during the speech.

Reacting, famous crypto lawyer Fred Rispoli dismissed this claim. However, he speculated that Bitcoin would not be the only cryptocurrency Sacks would reference in the speech.

Furthermore, he suggested that the Crypto Czar would mention the term ‘other digital assets’ instead of explicitly mentioning XRP or any other altcoin.

On the contrary, Sacks, in his brief speech, talked about the evaluation of a Bitcoin reserve and did not mention other digital assets, including XRP.

Debate About XRP Inclusion in Reserve

Discussions about the potential inclusion of other cryptocurrencies like XRP into the national digital asset reserve have gained momentum recently.

While Bitcoin advocates contend that the reserve will feature only BTC, other crypto stakeholders like Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse are pushing for a diversified reserve that will include multiple cryptocurrencies, including XRP.

As reported earlier, Garlinghouse confirmed that he met with Trump to advocate for a diversified digital asset reserve.

However, this led to a major feud between XRP and Bitcoin enthusiasts, resulting in a war of words. In the meantime, the presidential working group is still setting up its structure to commence operations soon.

Within 180 days of the executive order, the group will submit a comprehensive report detailing a federal regulatory framework for the digital asset market and its decision concerning the reserve.

Whether the group will advise Trump to establish the reserve and include multiple digital assets remains to be seen.

$1.2B in Repayments to FTX Bahamas Creditors Set to Begin This February: Details

0

FTX creditors in the Bahamas will begin receiving repayments on February 18, 2025, through BitGo, one of the designated distribution platforms.

According to court-approved documents shared by FTX creditor activist Sunil, individual claims from Bahamas-based creditors are capped at $50,000. The repayment process follows the restructuring plan that took effect on January 3, which requires distributions to start within 60 days.

Limited Funds and KYC Requirements

FTX has allocated $13 billion for creditor repayments, though half of this amount remains reserved for disputed claims. As a result, the exact portion available for Bahamas-based creditors remains unclear. Funds for eligible claimants will be accessible starting at 10 a.m. ET on February 18.

The first distribution phase will disburse approximately $800 million to claimants who have successfully completed the Know Your Customer (KYC) process. An additional $400 million will be distributed once pending KYC verifications are finalized.

Further reports indicate that around $345 million in claims are currently held due to incomplete KYC procedures. Notably, creditors are set to receive 9% interest per annum from November 11, 2022.

Jurisdictional Restrictions on Repayments

Despite ongoing distributions, several jurisdictions remain ineligible for repayments through BitGo and Kraken, FTX’s designated platforms. An updated document released on January 16, 2025, states that 163 jurisdictions are restricted from receiving payments. This list includes Nigeria, Russia, Ukraine, China, Iran, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia.

FTX had initially acknowledged that users from these regions held accounts on the designated platforms but later reversed its stance, confirming their exclusion.

The exchange is reviewing its list of eligible jurisdictions and has indicated that modifications may be made.

Background and Legal Developments

FTX, once a leading crypto exchange, collapsed in 2022 following revelations of corporate mismanagement and fraudulent activities.

The platform was headquartered in the Bahamas under the leadership of founder Sam Bankman-Fried. Following his conviction on multiple fraud charges, Bankman-Fried received a 25-year prison sentence.

He has since challenged the ruling, alleging judicial bias, and has formally requested a retrial. Reports suggest that his parents have approached former U.S. President Donald Trump to seek a pardon.

Media Personality Tristan Tate Revives Talks About XRP Soaring to $100

0

Tristan Tate, a media personality with 3.3 million followers on X, has sparked a conversation about the potential for XRP to reach $100.

On Tuesday, he took to X to ask the crypto community to explain the hype surrounding XRP. Specifically, he sought clarification on why XRP could possibly rise to hundreds of dollars per coin.

The inquiry quickly gained traction, accumulating over 3 million views. Notably, many from the XRP community offered insights into XRP’s potential and the reasons behind the buzz.

Foundations for XRP Hype and Why $100 is an Outlook

Among the prominent voices responding was Panos Mekras, a crypto author and co-founder of Anodos Finance. According to Mekras, XRP is worth the hype due to its underlying blockchain, the XRP Ledger, which he refers to as “the OG DeFi chain.”

Mekras argued that XRPL is the first non-PoW blockchain network, offering faster, cheaper, and more scalable solutions. Moreover, he noted that XRPL offered the first-ever global decentralized exchange.

Furthermore, Mekras told Tate that the XRP Ledger was explicitly created to disintermediate banks. He emphasized that it serves as a better alternative to Bitcoin, lacking mining and validation incentives, while offering faster, cheaper, and more decentralized money.

Additionally, Mekras pointed out that XRPL is more advanced, featuring the first DEX, tokenization capabilities, and payment functionalities.

Meanwhile, Abdullah Nassif, known as Abs in the community, remarked that XRP “makes money move for the banks as quickly and easily as data moves on the internet today.”

Similarly, crypto educator Edo Farina argued that XRP is 1,000 to 1,500 times more cost-effective, faster, and scalable than Bitcoin. He claims that XRP aligns more closely with Satoshi Nakamoto’s vision of a functional digital currency.

According to him, Bitcoin has become increasingly “centralized” due to concentrated mining pools. Farina even went as far as to describe Bitcoin as the beta test coin, while XRP is the “Final Product.”

Meanwhile, other prominent voices in the XRP community, such as XRPL validator Vet, extended a podcast invitation to Tate to further discuss XRP.

Critics Dismiss $100 Outlook as Unrealistic

Amid the discussion, X user “Mr. Random” pointed out an often-overlooked factor in the popular projections of a triple-digit price for XRP. He noted that for XRP to hit $100, its market cap would exceed $5 trillion, or $10 trillion, when accounting for escrow tokens.

Mr. Random stressed that this would surpass the market cap of many major world economies, making it highly unlikely given the current economic landscape. He further added that for XRP to reach $10,000, its market cap would need to hit a staggering $500 trillion.

Meanwhile, XRP proponents continue to argue that market cap implications are irrelevant “in the broader scheme of things.”

Trump Crypto Czar on Why the US Needs to Pay Attention to Bitcoin and Crypto

0

Trump’s crypto czar, David Sacks, talks up the potential of Bitcoin and crypto for the U.S.

The Donald Trump administration has made crypto a centerpiece of its agenda unlike any government before, perhaps save El Salvador under Nayib Bukele and the U.K. under Rishi Sunak.

While it can be argued that one likely driver for this is the millions of dollars the president received from the industry in campaign funding, David Sacks, Trump’s appointed point man on the industry, has offered a differing view.

Sacks Talks Bitcoin and Crypto Potential

Trump’s crypto czar, David Sacks, has talked up the potential of Bitcoin and crypto for the U.S. Sacks did this while speaking in an interview with CNBC on Tuesday, February 4.

When asked about why the U.S. needed to pay attention to digital asset technology, he championed Bitcoin’s value proposition as a store of value, blockchain’s potential for innovation, and the ability of stablecoins to extend the dollar’s dominance and drive demand for U.S. treasuries to support the country’s debt.

“I think these are all three very exciting areas of digital asset technology,” he asserted.

Sacks’ statements follow a press conference he held with several Senate and Congressional leaders outlining plans for crypto regulation and sustained interest in evaluating the feasibility of a strategic digital asset reserve as part of efforts of a crypto working group established by Trump that he also heads.

During the press conference, it was revealed that to aid the Trump-appointed working group’s efforts, the Senate and the House would form their own working group to push crypto legislation, starting with stablecoins.

Sacks, meanwhile, told reporters that the first point of call for his task force was to evaluate the feasibility of a Bitcoin reserve or crypto stockpile.

Speaking with CNBC after the press conference, he expressed optimism that crypto regulations could come within the year, specifically citing six months as a feasible timeline.

Sacks further addressed speculation of whether the Bitcoin reserve will be tucked into Trump’s planned sovereign wealth fund. According to the crypto czar, it will be up to Trump’s Secretary of Commerce pick, Howard Lutnick, to decide if the fund will invest in the asset, maintaining that his working group’s efforts were separate.

Notably, the working group has till July 2025 to submit recommendations on crypto legislation and a potential crypto stockpile to Trump after evaluating all existing crypto rules, orders, and guidance in the U.S.

Bitcoin Decouples from Ethereum: Here’s What It Means for Altcoin Season

0

The growing Bitcoin dominance and recent decoupling from Ethereum have sparked concerns over the viability of the altcoin season.

Amid a broader sideways trend in the crypto market, Bitcoin has shown resilience. Although it has demonstrated strength, the pioneering cryptocurrency has battled to hold the psychological $100,000 price mark amid hawkish macroeconomic developments.

Meanwhile, an interesting trend has developed with each time Bitcoin rebounded to $100,000. On-chain analytical firm Lookonchain identified this pattern in a recent post, raising concerns among the crypto community.

Bitcoin Shows Strength Against Ethereum

Yesterday’s post showed a strong decoupling between Bitcoin and Ethereum, the altcoin leader. Lookonchain pointed out that each time Bitcoin reclaimed $100,000, Ethereum trended lower than the subsequent event.

For context, when Bitcoin reached $100,000 for the first time on December 5, Ethereum’s price was $3,900. After a retest, the premier asset surged past the notable price mark again on December 11, but Ethereum traded a bit lower at $3,800.

Meanwhile, Ethereum has sustained that steady price decline as Bitcoin reclaimed $100,000, trading at $3,700, $3,400, $3,200, and $2,800 in the last four scenarios. The pattern signaled a strong decoupling between the two crypto giants.

Ethereum Performance Against Bitcoin

Furthermore, the ETHBTC chart confirms this growing outmuscling. Ethereum has fallen to 0.0281 BTC, a four-year low against Bitcoin, amid escalating price weakness.

Notably, this trend has surfaced on other major altcoins, including Dogecoin, BNB, and Cardano.

Why is This So?

Bitcoin’s growing outperformance could stem from its increasing market dominance. Data from TradingView shows that Bitcoin’s share of the crypto market has recently surged substantially, especially in the past few days.

For perspective, Bitcoin’s dominance surged to a four-year high of 64.34% on Monday, extending its growth in the past two months. Although it has retraced slightly to 60.19% today, the increasing stat points to why Bitcoin has outdone altcoins.

Moreover, Bitcoin’s extensive lead follows growing capital inflows into the pioneering asset. A significant source of this flow comes from the US spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs), which have recorded a cumulative positive flow of $1.1 billion in the past five days.

Altcoin Season In Jeopardy?

Meanwhile, Bitcoin’s decoupling against altcoins has fueled speculations that there will be no altseason. Sam Wouters, a River Financial executive, echoed this sentiment in a recent analysis.

He reinstated his earlier assertion that there will be no altcoin season—a market phase marked by altcoin’s massive overperformance against Bitcoin—this bull cycle. The marketing director cited Bitcoin’s market cap decoupling against other cryptocurrencies as the basis for this analysis.

Bitcoin Cap’s Decoupling Against Crypto

Another notable analyst, Murad, shared a similar view. He noted in a recent commentary that the industry has evolved permanently, with Bitcoin now the center of attraction.

Furthermore, the analyst stated that the increasing number of new altcoins deployed into the crypto market has also contributed to the new reality.

XRP Prints Its Third Weekly Hammer Ever, Signaling a Potential 2,000%+ Upside

0

XRP has posted its third weekly hammer formation in history, with the two previous instances leading to 2,000%+ price surges.

Notable market analyst Steph called attention to the latest development in his most recent analysis. Interestingly, the bullish commentary comes on the back of a concerning phase in the broader crypto market, as prices witness massive corrections.

XRP Forms Weekly Hammer Candlestick

For context, the broader crypto market collapsed over the weekend, triggered by Bitcoin’s (BTC) slump below the $100,000 psychological mark. As BTC retested $91,000 on Monday, Feb. 3, XRP observed a comparable crash, dropping to a low of $1.76 on the same day before quickly rebounding.

Despite a quick recovery above $2, XRP has failed to reclaim the $3 mark. Most recently, market analyst and order book expert Dom presented evidence that XRP’s sudden crash to $1.76 and swift recovery was not particularly natural. He mentioned this at a time when several analysts pointed to market manipulation across the board.

However, in an interesting twist, it appears this crash to $1.76 and the immediate rebound led to the formation of a hammer candle on the XRP weekly chart. Data from the chart shows that XRP began this week with a price of $2.579 amid the weekend correction.

XRP Weekly Hammer Candlestick
XRP Weekly Hammer Candlestick

Nonetheless, the sudden drop to $1.76 triggered a massive wick down, with the quick rebound push eventually leading to the hammer candle formation. For context, a hammer candle features a long lower shadow and smaller body, which suggests that buyers regained control of the market after a massive drop.

Previous Hammers Triggered 2,000%+ Rallies

According to Steph’s disclosure, this current hammer candlestick is the third one XRP has witnessed on the weekly timeframe throughout its history. Interestingly, the last two times the structure formed, XRP saw massive gains shortly after.

Particularly, XRP first observed this candlestick in late 2013. Following its formation, the price recovered from a downtrend, soaring 2,128% to a new all-time high of $0.0614.

XRP Historical Weekly Hammer Candlesticks Steph
XRP Historical Weekly Hammer Candlesticks | Steph

Meanwhile, the second time this weekly hammer candle formed was in January 2017. Following this structure, XRP saw steeper declines before eventually recovering. However, upon this recovery, prices skyrocketed, rallying by a massive 110,085% to the all-time high above $3 by January 2018.

Steph’s disclosure implied that the latest hammer structure could lead to upsurges similar to what the market witnessed during previous ones. With the past ones leading to rallies of at least 2,000%, a comparative increase from the current price of $2.5 would lead to $52.5, a new all-time high for XRP.

However, this might not be particularly feasible, especially considering XRP’s current market position and the concept of diminishing returns. Nonetheless, even a quarter of this increase, translating to 500%, would lead to a new all-time high of $15.
