John McAfee Widow Blames U.S. for Her Husband Death

According to Reuters, Jhon Macfee widow, Janice McAfee blame US authorities for her husband death.

Just a day before Macfee apparent suicide, he wrote in a Father Day note that US government want him dead in prison.

Janice McAfee shared a tweet:

The note says:

“US officials are determined to have John die in prison to make an example of him for speaking out against the corruption within government agencies.”

Janice McAfee says that she blame US Authorities.

“I blame the U.S. authorities for this tragedy. Because of these politically motivated charges against him, my husband is now dead,”

She further said that her husband was a fighter and he hoped that things will go well.

 “He had hope that things would work out. We knew that there would be an uphill battle to continue to fight this situation. But he’s a fighter … And anybody that knows John, that knows him even a little bit, knows that about him.”

“I don’t believe he did this, I will get answers.”


U.S. embassy spokesperson said:

“We are closely monitoring local authorities’ investigation into the cause of death, and stand ready to provide all appropriate assistance to the family. Out of respect to the family during this difficult time, we have no further comment.”
